And if you decline my invitation, what can I say? Who: Evan and Savvy Where: Comic book/gaming store When: Afternoon
Savvy had a good hour to kill before she met up with the restaurant owners and go over preliminary designs. Rough sketches at best, to be honest. Nothing Savvy was overly proud of, but it wasn't like she could redo everything for them overnight. It was a six month assignment after all. Six months and then you can go back to New York and AWAY from Nic. It would have been nice if someone gave her the heads up that not only her ex and best friend were in town, but so was her half-brother. She was bound to bump into him eventually, but hopefully not now. So with that hour to kill, the redhead did what she did best - check out the local geek mecca.
Granted, most geeks that walked into an establishment like that weren't dressed the way she was, but Savvy had a lovely habit of killing stereotypes like that. The only thing that sucked was that she had to tote around her mini portfolio case while skimming through the store. At least Marvel could stay perched outside and be fine. Damn owl was so persistent with staying by her mistress' side ever since her run in with Nic. With a gentle sigh, Savvy placed her belongings down as she came to the used video games section. This was usually a gold mine and the girl could never get enough of five dollar games. So far she had found Super Dodge Ball and River City Ransom. "Oh my god," Savvy snorted to herself, "I haven't played these in ages." Because killing people with dodge balls and lead pipes never got old.
