“Nothing that's going to make me cry,” Zhari said in suggestion for movies. She didn't have any specific titles in mind, but was just grateful to have something to do that evening with a great friend and a new friend. “Unless you've bought stock in Kimberly-Clark lately.” It was meant as a kind hearted joke. Zhari hated crying and when she did cry, it was going to be for a good reason. Not that watching sappy movies with friends wasn't a good reason, Zhari just preferred to not spend the evening cuddled up with a blanket and a Kleenex.
There were many options, though she didn't know what they had as far as movies went. There was always the staple romantic comedy that most women tended toward having in abundance. There were also regular comedies, historical movies, musicals, and action moves. And probably other genres she couldn't think of at the moment.
Grabbing a plate, Zhari helped herself to some of the pizza. And some of the sweets. Why not, calories didn't exist tonight, as far as she was concerned.
