Turn it inside out so I can see Who: Tessa, Calista and Zhari Where: Tessa and Calista's townhouse When: Early evening
A bored Tessa was never a good thing. A bored Tessa who knew she had plans when she got out of work that day was even worse. It didn't help that it wasn't all that busy at the dojo, even with the good weather and the fact that the demons weren't out trying to get them all. At least, it was nowhere near as bad as last time, and Tessa was still secretly a little sad that she hadn't managed to kill one this round. She made sure to have her katana on her at all times when she went out, just in case. Her skills as a martial artist were good, but having a blade was better. Sadly, not every demon died when you tried to light it on fire. That never really stopped Tessa from trying, though.
When even Troy's patience for her ran out, Tessa knew it was time to head out for the day. She cleaned up and changed before leaving the dojo, stopping to pick up pizza and snacks as she'd promised. Girls night in was sounding like a great idea right about now - though she and Calista shared the townhouse, sometimes it felt like she only saw her roommate in passing. Whenever the fire elemental side of her was feeling needy, time with friends always helped that. And Zhari was coming, too, and Tessa hadn't seen her since they went out drinking a while back. She wondered if her friend ever found out who the sender of that necklace was; it was a beautiful piece of jewelry, sure, but not the kind of thing you'd send to a stranger. At some point tonight, she'd ask.
Right now though? Food took priority. Inaki was waiting for her by the door when she came in, the fox rubbing against her leg for a second before trotting up the stairs. "Go on, you don't eat pizza," she reminded her familiar as she went inside.
I might should you let me.
"And I want my dinner, so that's a no." She shook her head. "Cali! Where are you?"
