Versus Who: Dom, Squid Where: Lakefront When: 10 PM
Dom was so easily bored. The moment the sun had set, she had disappeared out the door. A note had been left for Zero on their pillows, began in a coherent mindframe and, at some point, teetering into insanity.
Disappearing into the gloom of evening, Dom soon found herself on the edge of a lake. Their activities the previous night had shredded her previous outfit -- and stained it besides. Tonight, she wore a blue evening dress as casually as most would a t-shirt and pair of jeans. The strapless gown glittered in the moonlight, silver swirls matching the pair of silver open-toed high heels she wore. Her golden hair was done in a simple braid wrapped into a bun at the back of her skull. Slits rose on either side of the long gown to reveal glimpses of leg.
Dom seemed unmindful of all of this as she stepped out onto the tiny wooden bridge stretching over the head of the lake. A stream flowed into the lake here, and the little bridge had been built over the place where they met. Like a pier, a branch of it stretched out into the lake, likely used by local fishermen. Here, she paused, pale face upturned as she examined the moon above.
"It's so pretty," she told no one in particular, a bad habit she had picked up.
