Quentin was pretty damn good at the whole making it his own thing so far. Ross had yet to spot one painting that reminded him of something or another. And the landscapes in general were a nice breath of fresh air. He had seen so many abstract pieces to the point that he wondered if artists even knew what their backyard looked like.
"Aha! Another east coaster!" Ross couldn't help but beam at this. Ok, New York and Maine weren't exactly neighbors, but it was the closest you were ever going to get to it in that area. "I'm from Manhattan, so I understand the whole missing the east coast thing. The coffee and bagels aren't as good out here as they are back home, you know? But no, I just came out here early summer. Recent transplant and all." He laughed a bit while shaking his head. "Sorry! Didn't mean to go off on a tangent. Just really cool to have someone from that area out here. And it so shows in your art, too!" He picked up one of the paintings of the rocky beach side, taking a moment to admire it. "I love this one. That would look lovely right over Mr. Blanco's art piece over there." He held it up as if it could fit on the blank wall, moving it around to try and figure out a picture placement.
