The kid had a sense of humor. Good. That meant Ross liked him already. It was people who couldn't laugh at a joke that made him roll his eyes. Life had too much going on for people to always be tensed and stressed out. Relaxing and enjoying it was definitely the way Ross went. So when Quentin added on his own critique of the blank wall, Ross just laughed.
"First time, huh? Hopefully it won't be your last!" And from the looks of it, Quentin was toting around that infamous portfolio case, which meant he was here for good. Ross liked that. They could help fill up that blank wall that was glaring out at them. "Ross Kerrigan, I'm the owner around here, so if you got any questions or concerns or whatever, feel free to let me know." Just because he could read people's minds didn't mean he was going to walk right up to them and call them out on every damn thing. It made people around him uncomfortable, but he knew what this guy had on his mind. He'd let Quentin do the talking if he was that interested. Besides, people always confused ambition for cockiness, so he was going to give this guy a shot. That was all young artists ever needed.
