Boredom kills Who: Niamh and Kat Where: The park When: Afternoon
Uncommon though it was, today Niamh was sad that she hadn't been at the park yesterday. It had snowed, only in the park by the looks of it, and, well...it was probably a sight to behold. Sadly she had stayed in her room all day, listening to Echo & The Bunnymen and trying to pretend she could draw meaningful, touching pictures of distraught teenagers, of which she wasn't one, but she liked to pretend.
Today she was doing the exact same thing, except she was sitting under a tree at the park. Maybe some new weird weather was inbound...or something equally as exciting. Here was hoping; once upon a time, nothing ever happened in Scarlet Oak and then everything started happening all at once. The only problem was that nothing happened to her. Even her gay as a Hello Kitty store brother had a girlfriend, for God's sake.
In Niamh's opinion she was well overdue for some excitement that did not include her house being flooded by her own element. That had not even been exciting, just annoying. Niamh looked up and around her, and sighed. She was horribly, terribly, woefully bored. Bored, bored, bored. Soon enough she was going to start tattooing herself with her own black pen like she used to do when she was fourteen, that was how bored she was. This day just couldn't get any worse.
