Here Bubbles had thought that she'd at least have managed to annoy Amanda into showing her exasperation. But instead she went and acted all public relation-y. Bubbles couldn't stand politicians half the time even if the other half she thought that they were some of the best people on the planet. Though she did have the right idea with people needing to remember certain dangers. How nice was it that they actually worried about demons again? Bubbles thought it was wonderful. Might make hiding a little more difficult if they managed to figure out that it wasn't quite for someone like her to carry on. But until then she was going to keep having fun.
Aaand bingo, the parents question. Even if the bit just before it had been annoying thanks to the tone. Bubbles looked and acted like a kid sometimes but hello, she was old enough to be this woman's great-great grandma or something. "Mommy and daddy are dead," Bubbles sniffled, tears filling her big eyes and spilling out as she pressed her face into Amanda's leg. See how much of a smile she could keep on her face with tears and such leaking out on her. 'Adults' could get so touchy about that and Amanda's dress felt the sort of expensive that it'd bother her to get it ruined. So Bubbles let out a particularly loud sob before making sure to blow her nose into Amanda's dress. "The bad, bad demon cut their skin off. I saw!" Hell yes she saw, and she'd held the knife. It'd been verging on a religious experience. "Auntie's at home. Told me to come play. But then I fell and... and... now I'm sad." And annoying you is going to make my day so much better. Bubbles almost hoped that Amanda would try to walk away so she could make a scene at her.
