Hey all. I love the game, and I love you all! No, not leaving but am going to have to have Nikki step back for a couple weeks hiatus wise. I am on the way moving to a new place on May 4, so I need that little bit of time. I will be getting internet and finally not have to use my phone for all web purposes. Woot! Anyway, I will be back and definitely want to get some things and lines going for Nik. If you have line ideas, let me know and maybe when I get back we can give things a go! :]

I’m terribly sorry to do this, but I’m going to have to ask for a hiatus already. Between the death in my family, some medical emergency stuff with my mom, class and now preparing to help friends move (to name a few things) – I just need a bit of time to regroup and catch up with life.

So…if the lovely mods here could place Jake on hiatus for a couple (3 at max) weeks, I would greatly appreciate it.

Ok! So I settled on a schedule for doing Total Request Thursdays for Micah. It's too much (obviously) for me to do on a weekly schedule (been there, done that, can't do it again), but doing it once a month is much more manageable. There was such a good response, I figured it would be worth the effort.

TRT will be every third Thursday. I'll make an OOC reminder post Monday or Tuesday the week of TRT to give myself time to collect the music and get a jump start on the post, and then post the actual Micah TRT post on Wednesday night. You guys will have until 6pm Thursday afternoon to get your songs in to me, either through email if you have it, or by commenting on either of the week's posts. I will post every request, I promise. I'd love more participation! It makes for a lovely, eclectic play list!

Anyway! So it's Tuesday, and I intended for this to be on Monday. Oh well! Here is your first notice. TRT will be on Thursday, February 21! Start putting in your requests. ^_^ Comments will be screened as always

Now that all of the holidays have come and gone, we're going to get back into the usual swing of things. We will be doing activity check for January, and from then on. The warning list will go up a week before, and then if you still have not updated by February 1st, your kid will be removed. If you need a hiatus, please tell us we are more than willing to work with you.

I regret to say that I ask for Luke Colins to be dropped. My real life is so full right now, I won't be able to consistently play until March. Good playing to you all, and Merry Christmas.

So I've been spotty lately and I was hoping it would pass and I wouldn't have to give an explanation but...I feel it's time. As some of you already know, I have Crohn's Disease. The dr put me on 6mp to treat it. I don't know how much pharmacology knowledge y'all have but 6mp, while it's a treatment for Crohn's, is generally known as a cancer drug. That being said, it makes me really tired some days and I can't bring myself to have the energy to do anything. It has improved some but the medication isn't working as good as it should so the doc is adding remicade to it once my insurance approves it. Remicade is a 6 hour long iv biologic treatment every so often and this can make me really tired too. Don't worry. The game is not shutting down, I'm not going anywhere, this is just a please bear with me when there's a long time in between tags, posts, anything from me because it's not just me being a lazy ass. If I'm not on AIM, feel free to mobile my kids at any time, just let me know which kid you're mobiling because it doesn't tell me who gets the IM just what name it's sent from. I have an iphone so I can scene from it on AIM, I can email scene, and I promise I will try to be more active and alive here. Thank you for your patience.

1. I'm currently in the path of hurricane Sandy, I live in MD, so if you don't hear from me much in the next few days, it's likely weather related. We're holding strong for now though!

Can you please drop Linda? I know I haven't been doing well in even keeping up with Jackie, but life has become a very real hassle. If things don't shape up soon, I may have to temporarily drop out of the Sl. :'( I am deeply sorry for not getting to this before, it's just been crazy. Thank you so much.

Happy May Day

I am still alive and kicking. Okay so maybe the last one there is more like wiggling. But I'm alive so that counts as something right???

I apologize for my absent. With a mix of my nephews birthday party friday, my birthday partying on Saturday and then my nieces baptism on sunday, I took monday to get fully recovered. It was a crazy weekend and I needed it. Who knew turning 25 could be so fun...anyway...Me and Carrie are back.

Please...jayde and micah -shaped fill me in on anything I might have missed. Any projects you two want to put Carrie on...etc.

Anyone else...ill be on aim tonight after work if you want to throw a scene together!
