Okay. Meme-time which is more of a Kore-thinks-things-too-much-time.

We've all gotten a chance to play straight-up fable/literary/fairytale stuff and include a fair amount of interaction (and interpretation) between incarnate and fable. So, adding in Pax kids as well, who here has any specific head-canon for their kids' stories?

Lotte - I could just link you an essay I wrote on it but it's kind of long and rambly, so I'll sum it up nicely. My head-canon for Christine really extends to how she felt after the end of the novel - which really affected Lotte's personality in general. I doubt Christine had her 'happily ever after' after the novel - and not as many phans believes, because she was lovesick for Erik. Really didn't you read the book? Guilt's a major drive, as well as the paranoia that would have been in place afterwards.

Luther - I have to say, I haven't fleshed out Javert anywhere near as much as I probably could have. >_< Hugo does a good job filling in what I need and...well he dies. So I didn't have the problem Christine did >_> I did run with the idea that Javert was probably, due to his obsession with the law, not having any hidden affairs or interests behind the scenes. I think his romantic life was non-existent, frankly. And I don't see him as having a problem with that.

Joss - Not much. Badr continues to surprise me when she voices things more. I like to think that Badr is Joss just under a different lifestyle and more effective parents. The drive for attention and rebel definitely goes back to being a forgotten daughter, set to be part of a harem and desiring to be noticed.

Xavier - I've not played him much, but again very little. Most of TCOMC isn't in his POV which is tricky but...we hardly need his thoughts.

Sheila - No chance to do transformation yet, but I've had to do some thoughts on it. Nephthys is a strange character in mythology - not so much the Egyptian mythos. It's one of those things I don't think I like about the Egyptians - they don't really have personalities >_> But anyway, Nephthys in comparison to Sheila is more controlled. She doesn't go overboard with her confidence. She's quiet and subtler.

Guh, this makes me think. Interesting meme!

Um, well. I'll start with Paul since I'm signed in here. I think mortal!Paul doesn't have the confidence Poseidon does (yet, at least) and he's much more level-headed. However, the temper is extremely bad for the both of them. It's just that Paul burns a lot slower and is more passive about things, whereas Poseidon is an angry piss-ant all of the time. Overall, I think he'll evolve more into canon Poseidon's personality as the transformations go on and as he develops the weather-control ability.

For Gabby, well. Glinda is true to canon exactly, I would like to think - even though she only got to come out once - but Gabby is a good person too, she's just not as pious as Glinda. That will probably bother her but it's not like anyone can be as good as Glinda. :p She'll just have to learn to deal with it, as well as Glinda's penchant for lesbianism. Come on! She had an all-female army!

Shere Khan is actually a combination of the book and multiple movie personalities - he can be a bully and rather pompous like in the book. Although it's ironic that Disney gave Shere Khan more of a villainous role than freaking Rudyard Kipling. I actually like Disney's/every other movies portrayal of him, as something sophisticated and deadly, but as some versions have suggested, he is merely distrustful of humans because of their treatment toward animals. It's hard to look at him as a 'villain' in that light. Naturally, the tiger's opinions really conflict with Sam, but they have a few things in common. Tigers are determined, and they have very powerful and dominating personalities. I think there are lots of similarities there. Even if Sam would disagree with me.

Vasilissa is one of these fables that amazed me. I mean, it seems like a pretty usual Tale Type 510A until you start reading it. really she's this innocent type, who murders half her family by the end? :D I dunno. She's meant to be nice and wanting to help, but somehow ends up a bit vengeful.

PETER PAN DEPRESSES ME. I hate that he returned too late for Wendy. I don't want to talk about it >:((((((((

Devin is nothing like Isis. Isis is actually functional and gets laid frequently even if she has to put together her brother-lover.
