Here's a simple one - how did you settle on your character(s)' pb? Did you have a back-up option? WHAT'S THE STORY ~~WISHBONE~~?

Yeah off-topic but Wishbone was the best thing ever in my childhood. And it was my first introduction to Phantom of the Opera. Launched a fear that lasted about ten years. Whee. Random fact about Kore you probably didn't really need to know.

	I just cannot even believe he cares that much about a dead body that was buried in a cemetery. As far as the PBs go, honestly, I have always wanted to use both Chris Pine and Tamsin Egerton. They were on my 'list,' sort of. I use Matt Damon in another game as a side character but I think he works well as Poseidon over at Pax. :D (Reply to this) (Thread)

	It's not quite legal actually to bury a body without a permit. :/ There's licensing and numbers. Only a certain amount of bodies can go in the ground in a certain area, due to water isssues and stuff. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I think one of the best things about the Bellum building is the skewed priorities. DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO THE RAPISTS. Just lock them in a cell for awhile until they bust out. And then when they die, RAIN FIRE AND BRIMSTONE UPON THE ONES WHO BURIED THE BODY.

	Not saying it isn't >_> But Luther is about the law in all forms. I actually had to write a narrative to justify Luther's taking the law into his own hands. He didn't like it and it's a...big problem. The way I do it is when I finish more of the skeleton of the application, then I try to find a PB that matches the image in my head.

Illy went through a couple PBs, I can't remember off the top of my head who else. But I kept circling back to Kaya that I went, "fuck it. let's go with it." The problem I was having was to either do a Real Life 18 (which Kaya is) or a Hollywood 18 (a 20+ actress playing an 18 year old. Hay every CW show ever).

Nicky didn't go through any other PBs that much, cause I went through an icon directory and they had his floppy bangs and bashful face. And I went "Hey you're Nicky!" I almost didn't want to use him cause of lol Stonems -- Kaya and Nick played siblings. But in the end, I just liked him best.

Devin was easy, cause I loved her god damn face so much.

And Wishbone (and PBS) was the only thing my gramma would let me watch at her house. It was awesome. I want that dog.

Reverse order for once!

Xavier - When I started looking into making Xavier, I didn't have much of an idea for a PB. Just someone who had a wide range of faces and emotions. For awhile I settled on Lee Williams. I decided after awhile though that a. His face looked too young, b. If I used him Xavier would probably end up even more pyschotic than he already was c. I kept thinking he looked like Cillian Murphy. :/ I knew someone who used Fassbender before and after going through Chthonicons to upload more icons for Luther, I found those sets. After a bit of research and staring, I decided he was perfect :)

Joss - This was a case of finding the PB and then coming up with the character idea. Daisy Lowe is strangely pretty and slutty and I wanted to come up with a reason behind that. Joss developed less than 24 hours after I made the connection between Daisy and the premade.

Luther - Anyone who knows me at all can probably guess my favorite iconmaker is Baobabble. >_> High quality stuff. I was browsing over there a couple months ago, passed the Armitage set and went "Wow, he'd make a great Javert. If I ever got a chance to play him, that's who I'd use." Forgotten for awhile until I started rereading GND and Roommates. Got the Les Mis soundtrack and book. Hello Javert muse. After ~~begging and making~~ getting the premades, it was kind of a no-brainer. :D We'll ignore the fact that he doesn't have the appropriate mutton chops, is fifteen years too young, and is way more handsome than he should be. >_> And I did consider Matthew MacFadyen for about ten seconds. He was too wimpy to pull it off.

Lotte - Was very, very difficult thought she shouldn't have been. I'd attempted a post-book Christine once and used Christina Ricci ala Sleepy Hollow then. She was my first choice when coming up with Lotte, but the period costume seemed like a bad idea at the time >_> So I got inventive. I debated throwing another wrench into things and making her Asian-American as Horikita Maki then decided I didn't have enough knowledge to do that. I attempted to get over my fears of a brunette Christine ~~No offense to the musical, but I wanted this to be as Leroux as possible~~ and Alexis Bledel by using her. Didn't turn out too well. >_> Carey Mulligan was actually the top contendor until I said "SCREW IT." So I now have mostly-Blonde-yet-sometimes-Brunette-and-mostly-period-clothing Christina Ricci shaped Lotte. And I don't think I would change it >_>

	Forgot Sheila. facepalm I couldn't find a PB that managed to be 'otherworldly' yet not dark & mysterious & sexy. 	Dude. If you had used MacFadyen for Luther, I'd have had a really hard time taking him seriously. Why? Because of Death at a Funeral. I'm sorry. I know actor =/= PB, but that is one of my fave movies and I'd have just been lolling the whooole time. I think all your PBs are absolutely perfect, actually. They are the characters, kthanx. I actually tend to have a vague idea of the character and then look for a PB so the faces and expressions can help me figure out like what exactly their personality is.

For Joanie, since she was going to be the Wicked Witch of the West I knew I wanted someone with a semi-large nose, preferably with a lump in it. So, and I know this is awful, I found a list of Jewish actresses on wikipedia and started going through them. After finding out that Amanda Bynes is Jewish, I clicked on "Kat Dennings" on the list. I looked her up and it was just instant. I was like "That's Joanie." I had never seen her in movies before, but I lucked out on her being so popular.

For Archer, I wanted someone with glasses. So I just kinda poked around a few different icon journals and found one that actually has nice symbols for things like "glasses" and stuff. Opened up a set of icons for JRM from this movie where he has dorky glasses, and I was like "Dude that's him." Again, pretty instant. Almost all his icons are from that movie because most JRM icons from other stuff look nothing like Archer in my mind, oddly enough.

For Brian, I actually had had the idea of making a Dr. Jekyll with Nicolas Cage for a while. I don't know how I came to have this idea, but I loved it. I love Nicolas Cage, I just think he's hilarious. So I had him, and needed a face for Max. I knew I wanted somebody with similar-ish features to Cage, like I didn't want to go from like Nicolas Cage to, say, Willem Dafoe. I posted on Find_a_PB and this person suggested Edward Norton, and it was just perfect.

For Gina, I started randomly thinking up actresses that I thought were maybe in their late 20's/early 30's and googling at will. Stumbled on SMG and was like, "...damnit that is Gina." The second I started hearing SMG's voice in my head saying Gina's lines, I knew it couldn't be anyone else.

And for Riley, I looked for people with weird hair. Found Hayley Williams. Loved her faces. The end.

So my internet is currently down but I don't feel like waiting hours to do this, so I'm posting from my phone instead :D

I went through waay too many PB possibilities for Vlad. First was Gary Oldman, then Richard Armitage, then some other dude... until I thought about evil characters and then I was like "OMG VOLDEMORT." Then I settled on Ralph Fiennes and he was perfect. :D

For Cole I seriously considered using David Tennant, but I was afraid that I'd end up making him too much like the Doctor so I went searching through

pb_updates and found Justin Theroux instead, who looked like he could fit the whole jumpy teacher look.

Hannah was easy. I've always wanted to use Billie Piper as a PB and she fit the character perfectly.

Bran was a little harder. I needed someone who looked intimidating with a potential to be crazy thrown in. I considered Clive Owen for a second but Christian Bale was pretty much my only main choice. The American Psycho icons I found sealed the deal XD

Aand Sarah, even though I need to start doing more with her. >__> Natalie Portman was my first choice and I stuck with her because she has that 'girl next door' look and I think she's pretty without being fake or overdone.

As for Anthony, Chris was pretty much the first person I thought of. Which was not exactly the best thing ever since there are not that many icons of him out there (at the time I managed to miss an old 240-icons post). I was actually looking at screencaps and wondering if I should get someone else, but the more I saw the more he fit with the app I had been writing (he even had the piano!!!)

Well shit. Uhm.

For me, when it comes to PBs, I have to find the PB first before I can write the character, because their image has to be in my head to wind around. @_@

For Isobel... I knew I wanted blonde. I wanted a younger woman. I wanted undeniably cute. I actually ended up bouncing a lot of ideas off an old player here, Mika (Wounded Lion) before settling on Elisabeth Harnois because she was adorable.

As for Oliver... I had a hell of a time settling for him. I can't remember all the ones I looked at first, but Joseph Fiennes' eyes just kind of... pulled me in and I loved it. So. There we go.

Lucas was... fun to find. Initially, I had been looking at older actors, and then when we got the age range for them down, I narrowed it all in. Brendan Hines popped up and I loved all his expressions and that curly mop of hair and he just screamed FERNAND to me.

And then for Simon over at Pax... the guy I had initially settled on (Michael Gandolfi) was just too... sceney. Pretty. Too much guyliner and I couldn't cope with that. Then I found Ben Barnes and kind of drooled on the pretty and went through angsting because originally, Sakki had him on hold for... Oisin? I think. Then she changed her hold and I snatched him up and he's adorable and awesome and I can't stop staring at him. ;;

For Sherri, as soon as I held her I asked the girl (a.k.a. my best friend/brain twin/one-on-one RP partner) "who looks like she could be Daisy Lowe's sister?" and she responded very quickly with "Lily Allen." I wasn't sure on her at first because, although I love her music to an insane extent, her personality seemed to be totally off for someone I could picture as the character I was coming up with. Flipping between pictures of them convinced me, though, and I was able to find enough pictures that would work that I was comfortable with going with her!

...I'm honestly not completely sure how I came up with Zachary Levi for Theo. I'm blaming the fact that I was trying to catch up on Chuck at the time, and my PB browsing didn't reveal anybody who wore a lot of hats anyway. In hindsight, it was totally a good call and it'd be hard to find someone else as quirky and awkward as Zachary Levi.

As for Miss Moana, when I first started eying the premade before Pax opened I had a brief thought of using Skin from Skunk Anansie because I have wanted to use her as a PB for a long time. And then I laughed at myself and decided on Angel Fershgenet Melaku Lola Luv or whatever she's going by this week who I'd also been eying and wishing for a chance to use and who I knew was perfect in ways that I cannot even begin to express. As far as Skin goes, maybe someday I'll find a role for her (she'd be a great Erzulie Dantor but that is one vodou lwa I would not want to offend).
