It's kinda of weird, not being on high alert and everything now that the killer was caught. Guess we just got to go back to doing what we were doing. Makes it seem boring now.

It's nice to be able to get back to concentrating on old projects once again. Though it was interesting to get out in the field, I can't think it's something I'd want to do often except when I'm pursuing a lead.
That being said, I should see if I can find anything new on a certain case...

Decided I was going to have a relaxing night to myself before my new roommate moved in, so I called my old friend Adam from Louisiana for a movie recommendation, and...yeah. Ever just watch a movie all the way through, and when you were done sat there in a stunned silence wondering what in the world you just subjected yourself to for the past nearly hour and a half? Seriously, only watch 'One-Eyed Monster' if you've been drinking.... I should have known better than to trust some movie starring Ron Jeremy of all people! It was nearly as brain-bleach-inducing as a Troma film, but the premise seemed funny and I was in the mood for something that would make me laugh. If only I'd have known what the synopsis meant by the phrase 'having an encounter with a different kind of monster'. I think I'm going to need a scalding shower after that.
Speaking of movies, does anyone want to see 'Warm Bodies' in town with me? The book was so good, and I'm hoping the movie measures up but I hate going to the movies alone. Also, 'Jack the Giant Slayer' is coming out soon... maybe I can hold off and take in a double feature.
