Who: Tonks and Remus (loonymoony)
What: Dinner, discussing things
When: Tuesday evening
Where: Their living room, a restaurant
Tonks had been kind of avoiding people lately. She had taken to doing something she had rarely done before - locking herself in the confines of her room and studying this world. She was learning about the internet and the devices - a computer and phone - they had been given upon arrival. She even learned some interesting tidbits about the island itself. She figured it could come in handy someday.
Having the ability to Apparate within the confines of the island, she memorized the maps and walked the streets so she could get anywhere, anytime. She wanted to help people, especially with all of the murders and kidnappings going on. She was thrilled that Hermione had come up with a sort of Auror system for this place... of course, it wouldn't be called that, since there were muggles helping out. She knew that they had talent and could help; she wasn't an elitest. After all, her father was one of the bravest, smartest, kindest muggles there ever was. She missed him so.
She had been lost in her thoughts for too long. She was having a date with Remus Lupin tonight. Well... a date if he wanted it to be. Which, she wasn't sure about. It was so different here. They hadn't even realized that they shared an apartment! At home, she and Remus had just begun to talk and discuss a relationship - they cared for one another deeply, but he was frightened of hurting her, of his werewolf nature casting a negative light on her life. Things she didn't care about. She knew she loved him, and that was enough.
But this Remus, though the same, wasn't as hardened by time and years upon years of being turned away for something he couldn't control. True, he was bitter... but he had a right to be. He was closer to her age here, and while it freaked her out, she still found him to be the man she loved. And she hoped he could grow to love her as well. If only she hadn't opened her big mouth. Or... ran her big fingers? Whatever the case, she now had to explain about their complicated futures together.
She hastened to dress, putting on some nice jeans and a gray top, her hair the pink she kept it. She was in a good mood, and pink suited that just fine. Slipping on her black sandals, she padded to the living room to meet her escort for the evening.
