WHO: Nymphadora Weasley and Brandon Abercrombie
WHAT: The Heist
WHERE: Outside. EEP!
WHEN: Backdated to the day of this conversation
RATING: TBA
STATUS: In Progress/Closed ; Partly-logged ;;

It would have been safe to assume that Brandon Abercrombie had spent less than seventy two hours, total, in the outdoors. Given what happened the first time he spent an hour among the grass and the trees, he had been careful with his moments, choosing the safest ones to spend outside the walls of his multiple sanctuaries. Even while he seemed to be careless with his life - and he intended it to be that way, as to gauge other peoples' reactions - it was true that he always came short of that line that would mean true risk of his life.

And so, it was with regret that he knew he had only about ten minutes to spend watching the sunset by Dora's side. And though ten minutes was more than enough to form a permanent memory - one that he would likely treasure for as long as he could - it still wouldn't be enough to erase the hint of sullen disappointment from his eyes as he trudged down the stairs from his Common Room to the meeting spot he had arranged earlier with the less fierce of the twins. He did glance around once or twice before approaching the pretty girl that was one of his best mates, making quite certain that her sister wasn't around to be watching the pair of them - she would never let it go if she found out that he had went ahead and gone outside after he said he wouldn't.

Still, when Dora offered, it wasn't something he wanted to turn down: not only the chance to go outside, but the chance to study the sunset with her by his side.. well, that wasn't something any sane person would turn down. No matter how irritable he could behave, there was no doubt in his mind that Dora was one of the few people on earth he actually would throw himself into the face of danger for. The corners of his mouth, thankfully, turned up as he approached her, olive green eyes sparkling with just a hint of anticipation for the upcoming event. "Ready?"

Nymphadora Weasley left her room that late afternoon with a great feeling of anxiety pooling at the pit of her stomach. She had always been the less daring one of the three George Weasley spawns, but today, she had to admit that she was testing her limits. She was about to do something she perceived as pretty risky, and one that could possibly make her twin, and possibly the entire Abercrombie clan, livid at her if they ever discovered what they were about to do. But some things, in her perspective were more important than rules. As a good daughter to her father, she had to believe in that Brandon's happiness was of far more importance. It didn't mean she didn't dread the possible consequences of her plan, however, so she wanted to be prepared.

With her big backbpck hanging one shoulder, Dora quietly made her way through the halls, careful to avoid as much people as she could to meet Brandon in front of the Main Hall. She saw him almost immediately, one of his small smiles greeting her. "Psh. Are you ready?" she asked him, landing beside him. She looked around once more, cautious. "I feel like we're on a heist of some sort." Then her eyes casted down to her pastel colored shirt, a frown creasing her brow. "If we were, my clothes are clearly not heist material." Laughing, she raised her bright eyes back to him and offered her hand to him for him to take. "I'm in charge of you now. Hold on, please."

His eyebrow cocked unconsciously as she actually answered his question about heist material: in three different points, for that matter. He gave serious thought to the matter, taking in everything she mentioned as though it was of the utmost importance; it was a half-smirk that graced his features as she went on about the different aspects of the outfit, and though he wasn't perturbed at all by her own choice of clothing color, he was rather amused by the fact that he was actually wearing perfect heist attire. Clad in a dark sweater and black slacks, it was by his own seemingly random choice of wardrobe that he was all set up for their little "heist" activity. Still, his smirk only widened as she mentioned the bulletproof vest, one of which he most certainly was not wearing. "I don't know how much use that would be at Hogwarts," he responded in kind, though he barely had time.

It was definitely true: his smiles were rare, especially considering the fact that even when he did give a light grin, it was often colored by his sullen disposition and transformed into a smirk. Still, the small butterflies that fluttered about in his middle betrayed the smirk - at least to himself - as their hands fit perfectly betwixt the other's fingers. It was odd; he wasn't a physical person, even with Dora or Addy, but the motion had seemed somewhat natural. It was disconcerting, and he tried without success to push the thought from his mind. Distraction, however, was evident as they made their way outdoors.
