who; Frank Longbottom and Darcy Warrington
when; Sunday afternoon
where; Hogwarts grounds
what; Darcy and Frank finally hang out
rating; TBA
status; In progress

Really, it was about time Darcy managed to spend some time alone with Frank. The last time they were somewhat alone or 'together' was at the Ball, and that was ages ago. How was she supposed to get the Quidditch Captain's attention if they never spent enough time together, just the two of them? Darcy was a pro at flirting, but she was pretty sure she didn't have superpowers.

Clad in a pair of lowcut jeans, a thick hoodie and a denim jacket, Darcy took one last look in the mirror and then made her way out of her dorm. She was supposed to meet Frank there and together would take a walk outside. It wasn't snowing today so it was safe to walk, though it'd probably be cold. But oh well, sacrificed had to be made; she would snuggle up against Frank. He wouldn't let her freeze to death, would he?

"Hey Frank," She greeted him with a smile, walking up to him.

It wasn't exactly a secret that Frank was a complete mess when it came to girls. Sure, he could talk to them, he at least had that step above his father. He didn't have a stutter, and he at least seemed slightly smooth. He had the good looks and Quidditch captain on his side, but when it comes to a girl that seemed interested in him, and likewise, he was at a loss of what to do.

He was interested in Darcy Warrington; of course, how couldn't he be? She was a friend, sweet, friendly, and a fun girl. And she was gorgeous. She seemed fairly interested in him, so why couldn't he get up the nerve to actually ask her out or something? At least she was bold, because she had reached out to him to hang out that evening.

Which was why he was standing in the Gryffindor common room, wearing a pair of jeans, sneakers, and a gray hooded sweatshirt over his teeshirt. Being a bulky athlete had it's advantages in the winter; he didn't get cold until it was at least around zero with snow on the ground.

"Hey, Darcy," he greeted happily as she walked up to him.

The fact that Frank was a mess with girls was probably one of the things that attracted Darcy, other than that curly hair, cute face and incredibly hot body. He was adorable and funny, and what he didn't know what to do when a girl liked him back? She was forward enough for both of them. She usually liked boys asking her out, but she had no problem in asking them instead.

As she walked to him, her eyes traveled to his back and shoulders. he had such perfect back and shoulders; or at least she thought he did. She liked broad backs and big arms, one could cuddle in those arms and be sure she would be safe and warm. "Ready to go?" She asked, taking his hand in hers and pulling him lightly toward the door.

Frank smiled shyly as her eyes went over him. If Fred was here, he'd absolutely laugh at him and call him a girl. He would have blushed if he hadn't fought so hard not to.

"Sure," he said, and he was being pulled towards the door. He liked how she was so forward; it certainly saved him the trouble, and it turned him on a bit. It gave her a whole new sexy persona, on top of the obvious sexiness she already had. "So, what have you been up to?" he asked after he opened the portrait for her and helped her out into the corridor.

Oh, she would've kissed him right there if he had blushed. That sight would be too adorable to resist.

She mouthed a little 'thank you' when he helped her out of the common room; not many boys would open the door to a girl these days. She gave him a light shrug and ran a hand through her hair. "Oh, same as usual. Sneaking out, driving the Prefects insane, creating chaos whenever I go." She joked, chuckling lightly. "Now seriously, nothing important, really." He didn't need to know that he slept with a boy almost a week ago. It's not like it was going to happen again now.

Frank would have liked it, although probably wouldn't have been very smooth about it. His voice might have flown away from him. He was sure he wouldn't faint, though.

Smiling, he nodded in response to her thank you. That was something he got from his father mostly, not that his mother wasn't the polite, kind woman she was, but Neville had always been very chivalrous. He picture swung closed behind him as they walked side by side down the corridor, talking. "Ahh, I see. Being bad?" he said with a laugh. Darcy wasn't shy about breaking the rules at the school. It was what made her more appealing sometimes. "And you do it while looking hot, I can tell you that."

Fainting wasn't good. Darcy would've been worried if he fainted after the kiss; although she could've found it a little bit endearing that she had such an effect of him. But the only way to know that for sure was if she kissed him, something that could happen easy if he played his cars right.

She grinned up at him and chuckled softly. "Why thank you. I try." She replied, winking playfully at him. "And what have you been up to?" She asked, linking her arm with his and looking up at him.

Frank would have just died if he had fainted. It wasn't exactly manly for a guy to faint in front of a girl, and he knew he would have never lived it down. Especially not from his best friends, or any of his teammates, and if had gotten out to the other teams and houses...he would have just locked himself away.

He tried to hide the blush forming on his cheeks, grinning at her. "Oh, I've bee trying to keep up with my school working." He linked his arm with hers, grinning. "Quidditch, school work, keeping my sister out of trouble and teasing Fred and James."

Who cared what was manly or not on a guy if the girl didn't mind it and found it adorable? As log as he didn't do it very often -- it wouldn't be good for his health, fainting so much -- she'd just find it a very cute habit of him.

"Been quite busy then. I'm glad you could make time for me. We haven't properly hung out since the Ball, and I missed my Captain Jack Sparrow."

Frank laughed, looking to the ground as they walked through the corridor towards the staircase. "Sorry I've been missing in action. I'm glad you wanted to hang out with me, though," he said with a laugh as the descended the staircase together.

"I'd make time for you any day, though," he added quietly, clearing his throat after. It was a shame that he couldn't say that clearly, but it made him nervous. He didn't want to seem too overeager.

Darcy shook her head lightly, chuckling. "Don't be. All that time you were missing in action gave me enough time to think about everything I wanted to do with you." And to him too, but she didn't say that out loud.

At that comment, Darcy smiled sweetly at him. He was too good and sweet, so adorable. She stopped on one step and reached to press a kiss on his cheek. "Me too."

Frank felt his face burning as he grinned sheepishly. "Well then I guess it worked out in my favor, right?" Being an teenage boy still, his mind turned to dirty thoughts. It probably didn't help that his best friend was James Potter. Everything was sexual with that boy. He just grinned, not giving anything away.

And she had heard him. Smiling, embarrassed a bit, he just shrugged. And then she kissed him, and he let out a nervous laugh. "Cool." They headed towards the doors of the Great Hall then, getting ready to go outside.

Darcy tried hard not to kiss him right there again when she saw him blushing. Instead, she smiled, bitting her bottom lip, and nodded. "It did, yes." His mind did well turning to dirty thoughts, because many of Darcy's thoughts about him were dirty; but not all of them, though. Some included innocent cludding up on the couch in the common room, though maybe one or two didn't end up with them making out or more.

She smiled up at him and linked her arm with his again as they headed outside.
