Life was to hectic. Shane was embarrassed about his behavior the last two days, where he was completely convinced that he was in love with Gwen. If it wasn't for Tristan, Shane probably would have broken up with Samantha and proposed to Gwen. This love potion thing was really getting out of hand. He still wasn't sure about Cameron, and remained scowling at him everytime he passed him in the hallway. But now he understood. And last but not least, Rosalie had gotten injured playing Quidditch and he couldn't find the courage to go visit her.

As he walked up the spiral staircase to the Astronomy Tower, his stomach twisted. Was that really what it felt like to be in love? Or was it just the effects of a potion? He rubbed his forehead, trying to clear his thoughts. When he entered the room, he was glad to see that he beat her there.

Samantha closed her journal and before she left to go meet Shane, she made sure that she looked decent enough. Oddly enough, Samantha was slightly nervous about going up to meet him. She had gotten jealous knowing that it wasn't his fault and it took Tristan, someone she never really talked to, to get her to calm down a bit and focus that it wasn't Shane's fault he had been acting that way. Still, she felt more embarrassed for him and for her now that it was all said and done.

Climbing up the spiral staircase, she saw that Shane was already there. Smiling she climbed the last few stairs and made her way over to him. "Hey," she said softly, thinking this was a better spot than than the common room.

A smile crossed Shane's lips when he heard her voice. He turned to greet he with a hug. He walked slowly to her and his strong arms wrapped around her tiny body. "Hello love," he spoke in her ear. Relief flooded him. He knew that she would make him feel better, she always did. He made a mental reminder to start bringing her here instead of the Common Room. Searching his mind for something to say, he found nothing. No words would fit. He released her, admiring her beautiful features. The room was filled with silence, but not an awkward silence...just silence.

Feeling his arms wrapping around her, she instantly felt better. He was so much bigger than her but she liked it. It was like Shane was this big bear protector and it was an added bonus that he was her boyfriend too. Resting her head on his chest she finally felt comfortable.

A small pout came across her face the moment he released her but she didn't say anything. In fact neither of them said anything for a while, she didn't felt the need to say anything. She had forgiven him and forgotten her anger the moment he hugged her. Not being able to resist, she lifted her head and and pressed her lips gently against Shane's.

	Shane bent his head low to kiss her back. His arms wrapped around her again. Yes, she always made him feel better. He felt awful about how he had acted and he knew what it felt like to be jealous. But she made all of the embarrassment go away. He forgot everything. His fingers tangled in her hair and he held her close to him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Samantha's head tilted slightly to deepen the kiss. Then after a moment she pulled away. "Just in case, that was my way of saying I forgive you. Even if it wasn't you're fault." With a small smile she leaned up and gave him another small kiss. "Just try not to be so hard on Cameron now." Her eyes raising, of course she wasn't angry with him though. Samantha knew how Shane felt, exactly how she felt when he kept saying how he loved Gwen.

"I'm all for putting this behind us if you are." Giving him another small kiss.

Shane felt a load lift from his shoulders. The sweet relief of being forgiven poured onto him. He pushed a stand of her silky air behind her ear. "Thank you," he mumbled softly, rubbing her cheek with his thumb. He kissed her lips again, still holding her close to him.

He kissed her forehead softly, feeling a knot form in his stomach. "I'll try," he replied to her request to be nicer to Cameron. "Are you sure he was on the potion?" He asked, blue eyes searching her face.

"Eye, Eye Captain," he cheered with a crooked smile. Of course he would be up for putting all of this behind him. When his lips met hers again, his stomach swirled. His lips massaged hers. He felt so comfortable with her.

	Samantha laughed a little and nodded. "Yes, I'm sure." He did have beautiful eyes. Sometimes when they were together, she couldn't help but just stare at them. "I can't say school is boreing anymore. So much has been going on, it's hard to keep up with," Shane complained. "Thank God for Quidditch...when I'm practicing...I just forget everything but the game. I'm really confident in our team this year. I hope we win cuz it's my last year here," he rambled. Talking to her was getting so much easier. He remembered the days when he could barely finish a sentence. Now that he had a grilfriend and didn't have to worry about wooing other girls, talking was much less difficult. Well, except for with Rosalie. He thought he would never be able to talk to her normally. His palms sweat and his head gets all cloudy with the scent of her perfume. It's just too much for him. But he had Sam and Sam made him so very happy. "What about you? Tell me about the life of Samantha Ackerly. How is your story going along?" He asked curiously.
