Who: Mika and Tyler
What: Mika might be mean to Tyler, but she cares about him... she goes to find him.
Where: Ravenclaw common room.

Mika was worried about Tyler, sure she gave him shit and always told him how she wasn't going to kiss him and wasn't exactly the nicest to him... But she did care about him, she sort of liked that he was oddly annoying sometimes. Not that she'd ever admit to that. She did care about him, and she did hope that he knew that.

So when she saw he was having a crummy day, and after wanting to beat the shit out of the idiotic Krum kid she left the great hall where she had been sitting to go find one Tyler Boot. It didn't take her long to get back to the common room, she was a pretty fast walker, and she picked up her pace a little bit just to get there.

When she entered she glanced around looking for him. Spotting him on a couch not to far away she smiled softly to herself and headed straight for him, cheering him up was her number one worry. She sat down next to him and wrapped her arm around his shoulder before kissing his cheek. "Hi Tyler." She said simply with a smile, the kiss was only to cheer him up.

As much as Mika loved giving him shit, loved bothering him, she adored him. She didn't want him to be sad, she didn't want him to be upset. She didn't mind the arm around her, or his head resting on hers. all she was worried about was making sure he was okay.

"I'm sorry." She whispered, Mika didn't know what else to say about his parents. That wasn't easy. She didn't really think she could help with that. She sort of figured it'd cause more problems than anything else.

"So become a rock star, no one is stopping you but yourself. If it's what you really want to do, than go for it. I might even support you in it." She teased poking his chest. Mika would of course support him, and make fun of him some, but only because she had fun with it, and never meant it.

"You are annoying, but of course I'm here. I'll always be here." She said smirking. Being around when it counted was important, she could go back to confusing him later.

"Awww, you would be my number one fan...even though you wouldn't admit it," he said with a smile. Already he was beginning to feel better. Her poking caused him to jump. "Hey, that tickles," he whined just before letting a smile slip.

"You know, you are pretty good at this cheering up stuff," he stated quietly. She would probably return to her normal mean self now that he was feeling better. He knew he was annoying, and he did it on purpose. For some reason he liked messing with her.

Her last comment took all of the words out of his head. For once, Tyler was at a loss of words. He searched his mind for something to say. "Are you close to your parents?" He asked finally.

At his words of a number one fan she hit him pretty hard on his leg. "Keep dreaming." She said rolling her eyes, she cared about him sure, but number one fan? He was dreaming.

"Someone has to be." She said shrugging slightly, if she thought he was really okay she probably would have pulled away hit him on the head and left, but no. She figured he needed a friend a bit longer than that.

She was a little shocked that he was quiet for so long. Finally when he spoke she was caught of guard. She shrugged slightly. "Not really. I wish I was sometimes, but they like Sarah a lot better." She said honestly, Sarah being her younger sister. Hell her brother liked Sarah better.

"OUCH!" Tyler yelped when she hit him in the leg. If only she was a dude...

Rubbing his leg, he listened to her intently. Usually Tyler only gave half of his attention to anything, but not at the moment. It was amazing how little he knew her. "I don't see why," he stated, looking into her eyes. Maintaining eyecontact was not something he usually did either. When he told a story or explained something he usually looked around the room or stood up to give a demonstration.

"Do you let them in?" He asked kind of blurting out a random thought. "I mean...with me...you kinda shove me away. Make it hard to get close...you know? But that is me...I bet they like you just as much or more...they just have a different way of showing it....Personally...I like you more," he said looking around the room, checking if it was clear of Sarah.

Mika was a little bit surprised at how much attention he was actually giving her. She always figured he'd get bored when she started to talk about her family, but he didn't seem to get bored.

"I don't let people in easily." She stated as if it were a pure fact. Mika knew that about herself, but it was hard to let anyone in, they just ended up like Sarah or Ashley better anyways. Mika was used to that. Even her brother liked Sarah and Ashely better.

She blushed slightly and looked down before looking up at him. "Thanks." She said softly. Part of her wondered if he said it because he meant it or if he said it because he felt like he had to.

Tyler was so used to everything coming easy to him. He never had to look hard for a girl to date, he had his parents wrapped around his finger, all he had to do was ask someone to do his homework for him and it was done. The fact that he had to actually try to get Mika's attention made him more interested. He nodded his head when she called him a baby.

"Are you blushing?" He asked. After it was said he covered his mouth with his hand. He shouldn't have said that. A balloon swelled up inside him. He had accomplished something. He had made Mika blush. Trying his hardest not to make it obvious that he was boasting, he moved away from her just in case she decided to hit him again.

Mika glared at him. "You just know when to ruin things!" She snapped at him pushing away from him. Even if she was comfortable leaning against him, nope he didn't have the right o point things out like that yet.

She hit his leg not too hard, but hard enough. "You're annoying." She said glaring before kissing his cheek.

"And I know things will work out for you. Just give your sister a hug, that's all she probably really needs to feel a bit better. And don't even think about saying anything else to me right now." She added kissing his cheek one more time before jumping up and walking towards the door out.

He was ashamed at himself. The little Tyler inside his head was banging his head against the wall. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! He starred at her with apologetic eyes even when she pushed him.

She insulted him...and then kissed him! His head was swimming. His brown eyebrows came together and formed tiny creases in his forehead. Why did she do this to him?

Again, she kissed him on the cheek, but this time she stood up and headed for the door. Tyler watched her walk, she was inching closer and closer to the door. His heart pounded. Go stop her!

Jumping off the couch himself, he called her name, "Mika! Wait!" Running up behind her, he jumped in front of her, grabbed her face, and pressed his lips to hers.

Mika was perfectly content with what she'd just done. She knew it'd probably mess with his head some, and honestly she liked that idea.

She was just about at the door when she heard her name and was in front of her. KISSING HER! Okay so maybe it felt kind of nice, and maybe she really wanted to kiss him.. But no, that wasn't right.

She pushed him back but couldn't stop a half smile. "Careful you just lost thirty seconds on that bet." She said before pushing past him and leaving him standing there.

It felt good to act on impulse. It was something Tyler did all the time. Thinking things through was just not something he had time for.

His heart dropped when she pushed him away and he frowned down at her. He let out a grunt, trying to decide if losing thirty seconds was worth it or not. Watching her leave, he rubbed his forehead and finally, when she was out of sight, he sat back down on the couch. He needed to figure things out.
