Tyler ran his index finger across the old wooden shelves, collecting dust. His hazel eyes glanced over the many titles on the spines of the books he would never crack open. There were many reasons to why he was in the library at that time. First of all, he had a huge pile of homework to do that he had unwisingly procrastinated until the very last minute to do. Secondly, everyone seemed to be under extreme stress and busy working on school stuff, so he was desprite for social activity. Thirdly, he made the very intellegent connection that there were a lot of girls in libraries...SMART girls. He encircled the tall shelves, bored out of his mind. He wanted someone to talk to...anyone. The silence was killing him softly.

Ryleigh walked into the library and headed for the Potions section of the library and was too busy looking around to notice anyone in front of her and bumped into Tyler and smiled wekly. "Hey." She said, looking him over for a moment and just kept walking and stood odwn the isle that he was just down and glanced out the corner of her eye at him, as she hurried and turned her attention back to the books.

As Tyler's mind switched from one random thought to another. He just walked, walked with a slight spring in his step, starring at the books. He wondered how people got so much enjoyment out of reading, it seemed like torture to him. Suddenly, someone collided with him. He was knocked backwards a few steps, but caught his balance. With suprised and unexpecting eyes, he looked down to find Ryleigh Sloper. A huge smile spread across his face. "Hey," he greeted back, his voice a little higher than he wished. He cleared his throat and watched her as she walked to the end of the aisle.

Turning his head slightly to the side, he observed her from afar. Taking a deep breath, he followed behind her. He leaned his elbow against the shelf, gazing down at her. "Ryleigh Sloper," he repeated her name. "How have you been? It seems like forever," he asked. He certainly was glad to see her again.

She ran her fingers through her hair, as she looked at him and smiled. "It may seem like it's been forever beucase we're not together anymore. Dork." She said, as she scanned the book shelves again and sighed. "Sorry, I've been in a bad mood lately and I put stuff behind and I need to do my work. Parents will kill me if I'm not getting good marks this year." She said, as she played with her locket. "So, when you said that we needed a break, how long did you mean it would be for? Long enough for you to try stuff with one of the other girls last year, just becuase you thought it was cool enough or did you just want to take a break from me becuase I don't put out?" She asked him in a soft voice.

She pulled down one of the books and opened it, flipping through the pages, waiting to hear what he had to say. "All I have to say is that I won't be mad at you for what happened between us, I just wish that things could have gone better." She put her last two cents in before she stayed quiet and awaited to hear from him.

The sides of his mouth lowered into a frown. He starred down at her, not expecting such a fiesty reaction. He could tell she had been holding things in and planning on their first words for quite a while now. "I..." he began but paused at a loss of words. His eyes darted towards the floor, ashamed to look at her. Things did not end the way he wanted them to last year. He had got a little too attached and made a huge mistake, he realized this now, to have broken up with her.

Tyler put his arms on her hips, pulling her towards him. He gazed down at her with a sly smile. He pressed his lips against hers. There was two reasons for doing this...the first and most important was that he had missed her terribly and promised to make up to her somehow...and and secondly...he didn't have the answers to her many questions and knew just how to distract her. "Let's just....take it slow for once," he whispered against her lips.

Her eyes widened a little when she felt his lips touch hers, but she had to admit, she did miss it. His lips were always so soft and she looked at him and smiled. "Okay. Just promise me, you won't hurt me again." She said, wrapping her arms around his neck, pressing her body closer to his. She kissed him again, deepening it, as her lips parted a little to allow her tongue to massage against his. They were risking getting caught, but that was something that she enjoyed the most about being with him.

She pulled away for a moment and took a breath. "I forgot how great of a kisser you were, Tyler. Somethings never change, but I'm glad." She said, with a soft laugh.

Lost in the moment he whispered the words, "I'll try." That's all he could do. He refused to promise not to hurt her because it was inevitable. That was what he was good at. One way or another he would let someone down or end up breaking someone's heart. It was a part of his personality. It was encrypted in his DNA. His hands rested her waist and slowly moved down to her hips. Peeking on eyes open, he pushed her gently backward, so they were in the dark corner of the library. He directed her so her back was against the wall.

He broke away from their lip locking to stare into her eyes for a quick moment. "Well, I'll just have to make it so you never forget it again," he remarked to her forgetting about how great of a kisser he was. It was a gift. Excitement swirled in his stomach. In the back of his mind he remembered the danger of getting caught. It only encouraged him more. That was another risk of being with Tyler. Not only did she risk total heartbreak, but also the wrath of the professors if they were to get caught. But that was not likely. Tyler was an expert at sneakiness. His fingers were knotted in her silky hair. He put his forehead to hers and a sly smile flashed across his lips as he kissed her again. He made sure it would take her breath away.

She kept her arms wrapped around his neck and jump up a little and wrapped her legs around his waist. She bit his bottom lip and pulled at it gently. Swallowing hard, she looked into his eyes andsmirked. "The dorm would be more comfortable, but this is more fun, if you know what I mean. Plus, I've missed you and your sneakiness." She said to him, as she kissed him on the cheek and trailed small kisses down his neck, biting and sucking on his soft skin and ran one hand up through his hair, but pulled away. "Moving too fast..Sorry." She said, getting off of him and clearing her throat and fixed her shirt and pants a little bit.

Tyler soaked in every second. He loved it when she pulled on his lower lip with her teeth. He grinned while kissing her. Her body against his, his skin grew hot and face flushed red. He pulled her legs tighter around him, sliding his hands up her smooth legs to her thighs and then back to her waist. Cold chills ran down his neck as her fingers went through his hair. He made a soft, low grunt of agreement in the back of his throat when she mentioned the dorm room. But he didn't really want to move. He liked the danger too much. "I've missed your kisses," he stated. She was a fantastic kisser. He had never met anyone who could lure him in like she could.

He grunted again. This time in protest when she pulled away from him. With his strong arms, he picked her up with ease and resumed their previous position...her legs around his waist...his hands resting on sides. His hazel eyes grazed into hers for a moment. "Nope," he stated, "Disregard that last part." He then cupped her cheeks in his hands and pressed his lips firmly against hers again. He kissed her with much eagerness. Now very passionate.

She giggled softly, as she looked into his eyes and took a deep breath and nearly squealed when he picked her back up. "I bet you have. I must be better than a lot of the girls you've been with." She said, with a smirk and had a hint of cockiness to her attitude, but she knew he'd know she was joking around. "You know, if you want to go back up to the dorms, I wouldn't care too much, unless your too scared." She was challenging him and the smirk returned to her lips.

Making sure her arms were around him tightly, she returned those much missed kisses of his and moaned softly into them, as she pulled away once more. "Or would the lake be better? I mean, We can, jump in the nice cool water and make sure we get were no one can really see us. HAve a bit of fun in the water like we used to." She was suggesting things that she shouldn't be. Prefects were supposed to be the sweet and innocent children..Haha, yeah right. Ryleigh was a naughty prefect, with an angelic look.

"Scared?" He asked, voice squeaking higher than he had wished. "I'm not scared....just...precautious," he answered. He knew what could and most certainly would happen if they went up to the dorms. He bit his lower lip pondering. But he really wanted to, really badly. He stroked her cheek with the side of his hand.

"And they named you prefect?" He questioned, leaning his head back in laughter. It was a beautiful rolling sound. He looked back in her eyes. "I like the idea of the lake...you wear that little bikini that I love so much..." he paused, thinking. "Let's go!" He rushed, jokingly. He leaned down to kiss her forehead.He couldn't help but kiss her again. She looked so beautiful. Again, the gut feeling occurred to him that he was getting too attached. But he ignored it. Ryleigh had always been on his mind...even when they were seperated. But was he ready for a serious relationship again? He really managed to screw it up last time. He rested his chin on her head and wrapped his arms around her once more. He stood there, holding her so close, mind racing at the speed of light.
