Tyler entered the commonroom exausted. It had been a long day, actually, it had been a long couple of weeks. He was trying to juggle school work and maintaining his perfect social life all at once. The Ball was approaching and he had noticed the many girls eagerly looking at him. He could easily take just about anyone he wanted, but he missed her. He saw one of Ryleighs friends and asked her if she had seen her around. She simply shrugged her shoulders, blushed, and went on about her way. Tyler growled lowly in his throat. Why was no one helping him? He plopped down on the couch and looked up at the ceiling. He missed the way she smelled, the color of her beautiful blonde hair and its silky texture. No other girl would fill the hole in the pit of his stomach. No one could kiss as good as she. No one could make him feel like he didn't have to show off all the time. He was comfortable around her...but she had been absent from his life the past couple of weeks...or he had been absent from hers.

Walking into the Ravenclaw Common Room, Ryleigh looked like she was ging to pass out, due to running around to find schoolbag and after two long hours, she finally found it hidden in the girl's bathroom on the 5th floor. She looked around the common romm and saw Tyler and plopped down on the couch by him and smiled. "Hey, Ladies Man." She said, with a laugh, as she snuggled against him. She knew that Colby was no where in sight, so they were good for a while since she knew her brother was somewhere else with his idiot friends.

At first he heard her voice and then she came into his view. His eyes grew wide. He was anxious to see her. Loving her greeting he replied, "Hello there beautiful." He wrapped his arm around her shoulder when she snuggled next to him.

"Ryleigh, love," he whispered in her ear through her blonde hair. "Will you go to the Ball with me?" He had been thinking about asking her all along, but he was Tyler...the procrastinator. He couldn't imagine taking anyone else and time was slipping away.

A smile came across her face and she shook her head, as she lookedu p at him. "How could I say no to you? Of course I will." She said, as she fixed herself enough to lean up and pressed her lips again his and giggled between the kiss. "Colby might have a man-to-man talk with you, but I'm willing to go with you, only because you're a cutie and a very nice boy...who is a great kisser." She added at the end and smirked.

Tyler felt a little relieved when she accepted to go with him to the Halloween Ball. He had a feeling that she would. He placed a kiss on the top of her head, smelling her hair. Bending his neck down so his lips could meet hers. His grey-green eyes locked with hers as she spoke.

A jult of fear striked up through his stomach when her older brother was mentioned. He was the only one Tyler was afraid of. The guy was tall and super built and (with good reason) hated Tyler's guts. "You will have to come with me or else he might lock me in a closet or something until the Ball is over," Tyler said with a smile.

He raised his eyebrows when she called him a nice boy. "A nice boy?" He repeated her words, questioning her. "I'm a bad boy...what are you talking about," he stated in a husky voice. Then he pressed his lips to hers again. He missed the taste of her kiss. Quickly he deepened it, moving his hand so his fingers tangled in her hair.
