James S. Potter ([info]ex_jamesy946) wrote in [info]landing_rpg,
As she commented about missing out on a kiss, he opened his mouth to protest before settling into his almost trademarked pouty expression. "Oh, you can't be serious, Bryn... that's not fair!" he said, settling to actually sit beside her. Then a somewhat sneaky glint appeared in his eyes. "Of course, now I know that all I have to do to get you to kiss me is let you hit me around a little. That makes my job quite a bit easier."

He made a show of observing her legs carefully before nodding. "I do believe I'll have to agree with you. I have quite a bit of experience judging legs and I must admit that they are among the sexiest I've yet to encounter. Of course, part of that has to do with the lovely lady they belong to." Life, indeed, was more important than a pair of legs. However, James would be lying if he didn't say that 'Life' was more fun when sexy legs were involved.

He sighed desperately, shaking his head. "It's been so hard, living with this secret of mine. I mean, having to be in your stunning presence all of the time and never mention my longing for you? It's nearly killed me. It's relieving to have it out in the open."

He laughed a bit. "Oh, I guarantee you there will be a few first years trying to emulate it by the end of the week," he responded. "So, who is the lucky guy who is taking you to the ball? I'm certain there has to be someone."
