Who: Kendra and Phoenix What: Mayhem after dark Where: Greenhouse When: Nighttime Rating: PG-13
Kendra had, of course, paid no heed to Phoenix's warnings about going out alone at night. She had talked herself into believing that the two attacks or incidents or whatever they were Becken's sounded more like he was having a panic attack if anything. It could have been a terrible prank. Rumor had it that Zara's had been a werewolf attack, and Jacob Wood's... well, she wasn't entirely sure about that, but he was still alive so that must have meant something right? Maybe it had just been a dog and not the Grim. It was possible, right?
Either way, Kendra had eased herself back into a comfort zone and was back to her later visits to the greenhouse to check on her moonflower. The plant, which had grown at an extraordinarily rapid rate early in its life was now coated in gorgeous white blossoms that only bloomed at night. The careful measurements and notes taken would be important to future herbologists, or so she liked to think. The extra attention appeared to have very drastic effects on the plant, and if this was the case with other plants, it could make a huge difference in the availability of moonflower for potions and powders and all sorts of things.
As she closed the door of the greenhouse she was quick to notice a red plant in the corner. It's inviting petals were enough to earn anyone's interest, and its faint pleasant odor made her undeniably curious as to what scent the flower bore, but she quickly shook her head and focused her attention elsewhere. She knew no good would come out of that flower, and she focused instead on removing her layers and fishing out her wand to begin her measurements.
