Dora put on her best muggle clothing which was a new pair of trendy jeans that Abby had picked out for her and her favorite fuzzy yellow and black sweater that made her look like a bee. She was really neverous about this whole thing not really knowing what to do or say. Would this be just like hanging out with Jamie or would she be expected to hold his hand or even kiss him? She put her hair back from her face and stood there looking at it in the mirror. Oh Nymphadora, she scolded herself, you look fine and he'll like you no matter what. She nodded to herself, tied it back and headed down to the common room with her jacket and scarf on.

Was dating always this nerve racking?

Jamison wouldn't understand why she'd be nervous, it was a date, but was it really that kind of date? He didn't know, and worrying about it sounded like too much work. He'd rather just go along with the flow and not think about it at all. After all if he thought about it he'd get nervous and probably end up acting like a jerk. He didn't want to end up acting like a jerk.

So he put on some jeans and a simple back shirt before heading down to the common room to find Dora. He saw her and smiled. "Hey there." He said walking up and wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "You ready?"

Sure it shouldn't be this hard or nerve racking but this was Jamison, the boy she's had a crush on since first year when they spent an entire Sunday afternoon talking about muggle TV shows. Aside from her family she had never connected with someone like this. She would be happy being his best friend all her life but there would always be that spot in her heart that ached for him. A smile slunk across her face when he put his arm around her shoulders and she could feel his warm through her jacket.

“Hey there.” She grinned knowing full well that it sounded dumb but what else did she have to say right now? She was still a ball of nerves. “Yep, I'm ready to go. Where did you want to go first?” She was trying to contain the excitement in her since this would be the first year going to Hogsmeade with a boy.

Jamison thought about it for a second. "I don't know, somewhere low key and cool. How about we get some candy, get whatever we have to do out of the way and get some butter beers to go? We can go somewhere new. Maybe climb a tree." He was joking mostly about the tree, but it was sort of an amusing though.

Jamison stayed with his none thinking plans, he didn't want to think too much, he couldn't think too much it'd make it awkward.

She laughed, was there low key and cool in Hogsmeade? It wasn't like they where going to a shop in muggle London but she wished they where. Muggle London was her favorite place in the world, well aside form Hogwarts and the Hufflepuff common room. Climbing a tree sounded fun though, maybe she would hold him to that. “Sweets sound good, after the sugar party we had my stocks are kind of low.” She smiled. “Are there any really high trees around Hogsmeade? Sounds like it could be interesting drinking butter beer in a tree.”

She didn't mind making plans herself she just didn't want to map out the whole trip and not give him any say. She hated it when Addy did that to her so she was not going to put another person through it.

Jamison shrugged. "Probably. It can't be that hard to find one. Besides at least it'd be different huh?" He said thinking about it nodding his head up and down as he image of climbing a tree would be a lot of fun. Jamison was all for fun, serious things always made him nervous, fun things were good.

Jamison didn't really care either way, he was easy going enough that just having fun and going with the flow sounded like a really good idea. "So sweets time it is." He said as they got closer to the village.
