Dad,

I'm sure you already know the great news, Mr. Malfoy must surely have spoken to you about it, but just in case he didn't let me be the first to tell you that Scorpius Malfoy proposed to me! Oh Dad, I am so happy! He's so wonderful, and I know I'm going to be so happy by his side. You give me permission to marry him, don't you? The Malfoys are a good family. ~~And you owe me at least that after almost ruining the whole thing.~~

I have heard the news. I was speaking to Mr. Malfoy personally, but thank you for letting me know. I am very glad you are happy Avalon, and I hope he deserves you.

I of course give my permission, but I would like to know how long you are going to wait till you actually wed. I won't change my mind of course. I am so pleased for you Avalon. ~~And that righting my mistakes hasn't affected you further.~~

Your dowry is also taken care of, and between you and Scorpius the two of you should be more than comfortable.

I can hardly believe how much you're growing up ~~though I still think 18 is too young to get married...~~. I love you, sweetheart.

	Dad, I knew you knew. Zara was worried you wouldn't know, but I knew you did. I'm really glad you approve. I couldn't see myself with anyone better than Scorpius. We haven't talked about it yet.
