WHO: Blaise and Kelly
WHAT: They bump into each other and things happen
WHERE: Starting in the halls after class
WHEN: After the last class of the day
RATING: TBD

Ever since the day of the love potion, Kelly had been the only thing on Blaise's mind. The way she'd just kissed him in the library like that had been absolutely amazing. Not it was impossible forhim to think of her as just a friend. No, there was no doubting that he fancied her. Even more than he had to begin with. It was impossible to really pay atention in class when his mind kept drifting to the way she smiled or the way that her lips had felt against his. Not that the subject matter of the classes were really all that important as compared to the most amazing girl he'd ever met in his life.

Only problem was...they couldn't be together in public. His pureblood facade was difficult for him to keep up, that was more than true. But now it was even worse. Kelly wasn't pureblood so, just like all the other times, he had to wait and see her when there was no one around to see. Any of his fellow Slytherins would surely begin to gossip about him. Somehow word would get back to his father, most especially if it was Scorpius Malfoy that discovered his less than elitist behavior. So, Blaise only got to see her when classes were through for the day. Otherwise, when they ran into each other he had to ignore her or, at the very worst, say something that wasn't so nice and move on. It hurt him to do so, but there wasn't any way around it.

His mind was on her as his last class of the day ended and he gathered up his books. He was out in the hallway in less than a minute, more than ready to just go back to the dorms and read. Or maybe write a bit. Afterwards, as long as she wasn't busy, then maybe he could go see Kelly...and kiss her again like he really, really wanted to.

Their relationship (as friends or more than friends) had only one fatal flaw. A flaw that he'd never asked for, and yet he had to cause against his will. His father wanted him to be the perfect pureblood son and that meant not associating with anyone who wasn't pureblood unless there was a good reason for it. Kelly fell under that category, most unfortunately. Upholding a reputation seemed entirely pointless, but it had to be done otherwise there would be less than pleasant consequences. But that didn't mean he had to say any of the hurtful things to her unless it was necessary. It hurt him to hurt her, which was why he tried his absolute best to avoid it.

She was on his mind as he walked down the hall. Thankfully no one from his house came up to talk to him. Probably too preoccupied with harassing Muggleborns and half-bloods. Blaise just kept his eyes ahead, hoping that no one would get in his way so he wouldn't have to say anything to anyone. And that was when he spotted Kelly. He looked around, not seeing anyone who could possibly get on his case for talking to her. They were all too far ahead in the hall now.

He went over to her, letting a bit of a soft smile touch his lips. Something that could easily be turned to a scowl should anyone from Slytherin come upon the two of them together. "Hi," he said, trying very hard to resist the urge to just kiss her right then and there. No, that would have to wait.
