Why: She wants to tell Jamie something rather embarssing and personal.

Dora hoped that Jamie found her note alright, she had left it in his text book but then again he might not have seen it there. She was sitting in a comfortable overstuffed chair reading up on her mother's latest adventures in the world when she started to tap her foot, bad habit she picked up from dad. She hated when people were late or didn't show up but maybe she was much ealier then she had thought? She sighed, running a hand through her some what greasy feeling hair. What the hell was she going to say to him if he did show up? Pour out her heart? She'd never been good with boys but Jamie seemed like someone she could really be comfortable around. Maybe it was because he was muggle born or maybe it was because he liked her for things other people didn't.

She sighed and closed her book. This would never work, Jamie wasn't going to show and if he did he would just turn her down anyway. Why would anyone be interested in the geeky shy twin when they could have Addy, the amazingly brilliant twin?

Jamison didn't notice the note until he was dropping his books onto his bed and it went flying out landing on the floor. "Bugger." He muttered as he bent down and picked up. He'd been thinking about going to play football, but as her read his notes his plans changed. He didn't really know what it was about, but he didn't mind. Dora was always fun to be around. Making sure his stuff was safely on his bed and not about to tumble off he left the dorm room heading down to the common room.

He saw her sitting a down looking not exactly happy, but not unhappy... Worried was the word that came to mind. Jamison always enjoyed spending time with Dora, she was low key, less loud than a lot of the other girls in the school. He sat down across from her giving her a really puzzled look. "You doing okay?" He asked forgetting the normal hellos and crap, he was worried. He had to figure out what all of this was about.

She looked up when he seemed to appear out of thin air. Was she so caught up in her own thoughts that she couldn't hear someone walking into the common room? She tried to put a smile on her face but she didn't see how that was possable at the moment since hiding her emotions was never a thing she was good at.

She started to play with her hair, a tell tale sign that she was nervous. She looked up at him feeling the hotness on her face already. “I'm f-fine.” Great the stuttering had started. How was she going to get her words out this way. She looked up at him with hope in her blue eyes. “It's about Hogsmeade though and well..” She trailed off thinking of what words to say. “Everyone else is going on a date and I-I was wondering if maybe...” She shook her head and laughed mostly at herself, how could she be this stupid. “Never mind, you would never want to be my date.” Would you? she thought to herself.

Jamison tilted his head confused, he couldn't figure out what it was that she was trying to say. He looked at her puzzled for a good few moments. She seemed nervous, and unsure of herself. He didn't know what to do. He finally got it, sure it took him a good few seconds of silence, but she did sort of go on about how he wouldn't want to be her date? Since when did girls start asking him out? That was sort of what she was doing right?

"Would you be my date for Hogsmeade?" He finally said with a silly smile. Sure it was sort of odd, and the situation even made him nervous but it couldn't be so bad right? It could be a lot of fun, and Dora was fun, interesting, and probably someone he'd rather spend time with, besides she was pretty.
