As if the situation with his family couldn't get any worse. Jacob was pacing in the Greenhouse waiting. Their parents were just continually fucking up everything for them. It was bad that Oliver hadn't told them he was dating someone else. It was horrible he'd go to Hogsmeade and expect one of them not to see him. It was even worse that Piper was getting more worse off, and his brothers were being affected too.

It seemed Jacob didn't even have room to think selfish thoughts anymore. He had to be the one to talk to their father, when all he could think of was Oliver was getting over his mother. The only connection Jacob had for Oliver to be his father. He wasn't Oliver Woods real son. He wasn't a wood. Just a half sibling to the Wood children. He was just...

Jacob didn't want to think about it. He wanted to go to his secret place, where Elena would be soon be to see him. He didn't want to talk. He didn't want to think. Jacob just wanted to see the one girl that made him happy. He could remember the last time they'd hung out had been when Elena had snogged him because of the potion... which he hadn't minded. It was so easy to just forget everything with Elena around. Just to think about her.

	Jacob other hand moved to Elena's waist, holding her close when she pressed into him a bit. He loved kissing her. It was the only thing that made sense to him anymore. And the fact she didn't try to stop him, didn't ask him to talk about what was wrong... it was easier when he didn't want to talk. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Though Elena didn't want to do it by any means, her lungs demanded it, especially after her sprint to get to the greenhouse in the first place, and she had to pull back from him, cheeks flushed from the run over, the cold, and, most notably, from the kiss Jacob had just given her. "Hi," she said, breathing shaky. She had completely forgotten that she had already greeted him. She blamed that kiss for her light-headedness.

	Jacob needed to breath too, even if he thought kissing Elena was much better. He watched her flushed face, and he couldn't help but smile at her. "Hi," he said greeting her again. Elena let out a soft laugh and nodded, moving to slide down the wall to sit on the ground. It was strange how this had become 'their place'. When he said the greenhouse, she had known exactly which one he had meant. She felt a small flutter in her stomach at the notion of having a special place with someone to begin with. "I haven't seen you much lately," she said quietly. "I've missed you."

Elena smiled and leaned into him, enjoying the extra heat his body provided. "I know. I was looking for you, but then I got word that, apparently, your brother hit my brother and started some kind of brawl." She rolled her eyes. "I'm sure he deserved it, but I had to go play the sisterly role and calm him down."

Her brother was infuriating sometimes, but she didn't want to think about that now, as she pressed a small kiss to his neck.

Jacob nodded and chuckled ironically. "Yeah I heard. I almost didn't believe it. It's not exactly something I'd imagine my brother capable of," he said rolling his eyes. "I haven't even seen him since then. Not even after what Piper told us..."

He was willing to change the subject too as Elena kissed his neck. He turned his face towards hers and kissed her lips softly again.

It wasn't something she'd thought Oliver Wood capable of either, but apparently Callidora was involved, and everyone knew how grand that relationship had turned out, thanks to the douchebaggetry of her older brother. She was going to ask about what had happened, but Elena was apparently easily distracted when it came to Jacob. It probably had something to do with the fact that he was outrageously good-looking.

Elena had only ever kissed one other boy besides Jacob and that was Phoenix. It had never felt like it had with Jacob, though, and she supposed that had something to do with her age at the time. Either way, Phoenix had never been anything short of gentlemanly, and while she by no means minded his politeness, she had always wondered what it felt like to do something not so prim and proper. Her lips moved easily against his, a perfect fit, her hand resting upon his knee.

	Jacob wasn't exactly proper like Phoenix Malfoy either. Maybe if he had been raised as a Flint, instead of a Wood he may have been like that. But he was glad he was raised the way he was. He was more than willing to show Elena how much he liked her. Jacob let his hands move over Elena's that was on his knee. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Elena laced her fingers through Jacob's as his hand came over hers. Holding hands had always seemed such an intimate gesture to Elena, and this was no different. She felt a familiar flutter in her stomach at his touch, which may or may not have been intensified by his lips upon hers.

Elena wanted to deepen their kiss, but, quite frankly, she didn't know how. Verbally asking was completely out of the question, she knew that much. There was nothing sillier than breaking away from a good kiss to ask if he wanted more. So Elena, not having the slightest idea what she was doing, hesitantly ran her tongue against Jacob's lower lip. Was that what she was supposed to do? Listening to her girls swooning over the best kisses of their lives had never provided that particular insight, so she could only hope for the best.

	Jacob smirked a bit when he felt Elena's tongue against his lips. He opened his mouth to her, deepening the kiss, like she wanted him too. At least that's what it seemed like. He didn't mind at all. 	Jacob may have been smirking, but Elena was grinning inwardly as her attempt actually managed to succeed. Her first french kiss with Jacob. Her first french kiss with anyone, and it was wonderful. 	Jacob wasn't aware that this was Elena's first time kissing like this, but he would have been a bit of an ego boost to be the first for her. 	Finally willing herself away from him, Elena drew her lips back from his, resting her forehead against his lightly with a slightly goofy grin. 	Elena let out a soft laugh. "So, did you... need to talk?" she asked gently, her hand slipping into the back of his hair as she maintained his close proximity. Honestly, she wouldn't mind either answer he might offer. A yes meant he was willing to confide in her and a no meant she got to kiss him again. It was a win-win situation, if you asked her. 	Jacob moved his arm around Elena more comfortably, holding her closer. "I... don't really know," he said about talking. "I don't think so. Not really... that's kind of the problem. Everyone wants me to talk. They think I'm the one that can get through to Dad. That I have to be the one to talk to him," Jacob said with a sigh and kissed Elena's forehead. Elena frowned at the idea of his siblings putting so much pressure on Jacob when it was clear he was already uncomfortable with the idea that he might have been the cause of everything to begin with. "That's not your responsibility, Jacob," she said softly. "If you're not comfortable doing it, just tell them so. They'll understand." She was going to say Oliver should be the one to do that sort of thing, but considering the usually law-abiding head boy had just socked her brother in the nose in the middle of Hogsmeade, maybe he wasn't exactly in the best state to do so either.

	Jacob shook his head. "I know I should though. Not because everyone of my siblings are telling me. None of them can right now. I'm the only one left who can," he said. When Jacob was the one who should have, no doubt, been the most profoundly affected by what had happened, he was taking responsibility on himself to make things better for his family.
