Samantha was in a middle of a conversation when she took her first drink of her pumpkin juice. A little while later she noticed a familiar feeling, but this time it was a lot stronger. She wanted to kiss Shane. Well of course she always wants to kiss Shane but right now was different. Samantha had to kiss Shane. She needed to find him! The girl ate as fast as she could, then left the Great Hall, telling her friends she'd catch up with them later. After brushing her teeth, a girl can't just go up to a boy and snog them without having fresh breath! Samantha went looking around for him.

Where was that beautiful boy? The first time she had checked the common room he wasn't there. When she came back from the bathroom, still no sign on him. Perhaps he was in his room? Climbing up the steps, she stood outside of the 7th year Boys dorm, knocking on it softly, she said aloud, "Shane? Are you in there?"

Shane was lying on his stomach, reading over his Transfigurations report. But he found it extremely hard to concentrate. How could Rosalie just go up to him and kiss him like that? She knew he was dating Samantha...perhaps it was some potion thing or somehting. That was the best option. With a sigh, he rolled over and starred up at the ceiling. He was all alone and it was so quiet he closed his blue eyes and was very close to drifting asleep, when he heard a gentle knock on the door. Listening a second longer to make sure he wasn't dreaming, he rose from his bed at the sound of her beautiful voice. His heart began to accelerate as he opened the dor and his eyes locked on her.

A huge smile formed across his lips. "H-hey Sam...what are you doing?" He asked curiously. "Come on in!" He exclaimed with excitement, holding the door open for her. "I'm sorry...it's really messy," he apologized glancing around at the dirty and clean clothes on the floor and his un-made bed and the papers scattered everywhere. The only thing in place was his broom.

"Mess?" Samantha asked then looked passed him long enough to see some of the clothes and parchments around. "Oh, I don't mind," Waving a hand as she said that. Weren't boys supposed to have dirty rooms anyway? Besides, she didn't come up here to see a room, she came up here to see the perfect boy standing in the room.

Taking his hands into hers, she leaned up and kissed him. Finally! Letting it linger a little longer than usual, she then pulled back and smiled. "I've been wanting to do that all day." Even if she only had the potion since lunch, Samantha always wants to kiss her boyfriend.

The kiss took him completely by suprise. His eye brows raised and he froze, but then he was absorbed in it and moved his hand to her cheek. He stared into her perfect eyes and a grin spread across his lips. He loved kissing her, not only that, he loved talking to her and just being in her presence. Without a word, he brushed his lips against hers and pulled her closer, deepening the kiss.

Merlin, that man could send her stomach in knots. Even if they had been dating for a while, he still managed to make her nervous and giddy. When he deepened the kiss, everything was perfect and she wouldn't dare to break that apart. One of her arms moved to wrap around his waist, the other wrapped around his neck. Samantha's fingers running through Shane's hair, tugging on his locks playfully as her lips parted and pulling away slowly for her to catch her breath.

His heart beat quickened. He held her, never wanting to let go. Catching his breath, he touched his forehead to hers. Was it possible to be this happy? He searched his brain fr the right words to say, but decided that if he spoke, he would just ruin the moment. He planted a few kissed along her jawline and then nozzled his nose lightly to her hair, inhaling the delicious scent.

	Samantha's knees were completely weak. Her hands held on to him, just in case she fell. It was amazing how he could still have this effect on her. She felt herself smiling and let out a small giggle. Taking his hand she kissed the back then kissed his fingertips. "Did you have a good day today?" She finally asked. Shane smiled at her giggle. It was the cutest thing he ever heard. His blue eyes watched her carefully as she kissed his hands and fingers. When she spoke it brought him out of his dream-like state. "It's a lot better now," he stated, gleaming. He leaned down and kissed her forehead. "What about yours?" Shane asked, propping his chin on the top of her head. He never felt better. She made him incredibly happy.

	"Good." Samantha didn't know what she did to deserve someone as great as Shane, but she did like the fact that she was making him happy. At least it seemed that way to her. Her smile grew when it kissed her forehead, she could still feel it even when he asked her how she was doing. "It was alright, better now that I'm here." Squeezing his hand gently. He returned the light pressure to her hand. He kissed the back of her palm and then lead her to sit on his bed. But first with one large swipe, he knocked everything off the bed and into the floor, clearing a space for her. It was the typical guys way of cleaning.

"You wanna know a secret?" He asked her, staring at his shoes. Finally he looked up and met her gaze. "You'll be the first to know that I've decided to play for Ireland next year."

Samantha continued to hold Shane's hand as he lead her to the bed. Letting out a small laugh when he pushed everything off his bed, boys were funny sometimes. Though of course she didn't care about the room, she wanted to focus on Shane.

Her eyes lit up instantly when he told her the news. "Are you serious?" She asked with a huge smile grown across her face. "That's so exciting! Shane congratulations!" Samantha said happily as she instantly wrapped her arms around him. "I'm so proud of you."
