Day One - Exploring the Dorms
Who: Helena and Cathal
When: Day One, midday
What: Helena explores the dorms
Where: City of Illusions, dorm E
Rating: Minor swearing is possible
Status: Incomplete

Helena had been wandering for awhile before she finally worked out where the dorms were. She had got lost at first, the directions she had been given were way off, but had entertained herself enough with the strange surroundings. It looked, she was convinced, like the renaissance fair she had seen as a kid. A typical dream setting then, though she confessed not as appealing as the White Queen's City had been. She had stopped for a moment to try to get her bearings, then given up and just picked a random direction. She argued to herself that since it was her dream, then she should be able to find her way not matter what direction she picked. Amazingly, she ended up being right.

She reached the circle of buildings and stopped. There was a room number etched into the side of the key, telling her she was in the E dorm. Not 100% sure she was heading towards the right one, but going mainly on faith, she headed towards the closest building, her bunny slippers making a light scuffing noise as she walked.

He turned at the sound of the girl's voice and moved just before she would have slammed into the back of him. He glanced down at her, still annoyed and even more annoyed now that someone would want to talk to him. "Are you addressing me?" His brown eyes flashed dangerously. He wasn't normally this annoyed, but he was definitely out of his element and very worried at this change of events.

Her innocent look wasn't lost on him, and he could tell that it wasn't entirely real. "I believe this is the E building. Call me crazy, but that big "E" on the outside rather gave it away." He remarked without regard to her feelings. He didn't care if he hurt them or not. Better he did, then she'd stay away from him and she wouldn't ever be in danger from his father's magic. Now that he'd answered her question, he turned away from her and headed down the hall, checking the number on his key again.

His big grey cloak billowed behind him as he walked, revealing the insides that had various trinkets sewn into it. His hood was down, allowing a very good view of his tattood face.

"Ummm... yeah?" she responded to his first question. Helena could almost see the steam shooting out of this guys ears, but she fought the urge to giggle. He did look like he would be fair in a fight, although something about him made her know he wouldn't just attack her. Might ignore her though, and that wouldn't help her any. She bit her bottom lip lightly and stood up a little straigher.

At the mention of the large E, Helena rolled her eyes at her own stupidity. Just like her to miss something that blatant. He turned and walked away down the hall, and Helena waited for a moment before catching up to him again. He certainly had an interesting way of dressing, and she caught herself staring at the tattoos that seemed to stretch down past his neck. Blushing a little, she stopped herself from wondering just how far they extended.

Still with her diary and key in her hands, she shuffled after him in her slippers. "Do you mind if I tag along?" she asked, once again reaching his side. "Pingo always said I have no sense of direction.." she gave him a weak smile and raised her eyebrows, trying to make a connection. She couldn't help it. Helena was an entertainer. A clown at heart.
