WHO: Dr Leonard McCoy and Dr Temperance Brennan
WHAT: Doctor-y funtiems!
WHEN: Day 14, mid morning
WHERE: By some jousting.
WARNINGS: TBA
STATUS: Incomplete

Dr Leonard McCoy had to admit to himself that just having Kirk here was enough to make things seem a little better. Of course, it didn't change the fact that they were trapped in an incredibly primitive world, even beyond what he was comfortable with, with no hope of rescue. But at least he wasn't alone, at least there was someone else who really knew what it was like to be taken from their universe. Although he was still a little confused about where they actually were. It seemed most likely a planet somewhere, but he just wasn't sure about anything.

He'd felt better about everything, but when he'd woken up, everything had changed again. It seemed almost like a daily thing, and, to him, it was getting very old. He would prefer it if things would stay the way they were, for the most part. Not that he was upset to get rid of the giant board games or the laser tag. They had been fairly odd, and it was no loss to see them gone.

But it didn't seem to him like this new one was any better. Emerging from his room in the morning, he saw that it was all different once more, and he swore loudly. This was definitely getting on his nerves at this point. Everywhere he looked, there was stuff that was just completely incomprehensible to him. He wandered about, looking into tents, watching the dancing with a sardonic little smirk on his face, just looking at everything. In the end, none of it made the slightest bit of sense to him. What was the purpose to all this?

The doctor ended up, just by virtue of curiousity, by a strange scene indeed. Two of the strange little creatures, mounted on animals that Bones recognized from his childhood as horses, running at each other and apparently trying to knock each other from their perch. It looked incredibly dangerous, and he watched intently, just in case his medical services were needed.

"I'm starting to think this really is an incredibly stupid place." He remarked out loud, not to anyone in particular, and took a quick sip from his hip flask.

"Yeah, I guess it does." He smiled for a moment when she said 'bones', since, of course, to him? That would always call up images of his best friend who called him that. "Interesting. I don't usually see bones, since the people I deal with are alive. Of course, there are times when it can't be helped."

He frowned thoughtfully as she spoke, and then shook his head. "Hadn't thought of that." He admitted. It was odd, he'd always prefered to do things as naturally as possible with as little technology as he could get away with, but now that he was facing having none at all, except for what he'd brought, he wasn't actually liking that idea much. "I don't need a computer or medlab, of course, but it sure helps."

This was turning into one of the most interesting conversations he'd had in awhile. "Yeah, I did notice that. Most sports are fairly phallic. Hockey, baseball, golf, the list could go on. Not to mention, do you know how many damn people get hurt in those ridiculous contests? It's enough to make me sick." Anything he saw as dangerous could get him ranting, even something like sports that so many people enjoyed.

"Alright." He nodded and set off away from the fair, which, most directly, led them to the outskirts of the woods. He was about to make some comment about the relative peace and quiet, and how welcome it was, when he suddenly stopped and pointed. "Hey, what's that in there, do you see it?" There was a glint of white against the dark earth, ivory colored.
