Kathryn gave up then and there as she looked- once again- in her cupboards and not finding any coffee in there. She had hoped that she just might have missed it or it magically appeared- for who knew in this place, it might have been possible for all she knew. She had gone a day without any and was seriously craving it. Slamming the door shut, let out a hurrumph of annoyance. It looked like she would have to go out and find some herself.

Since it had been snowing she made sure to find a warm jacket in her wardrobe before heading out. She wasn't used to snow- being in space for so long it was strange to see it again. She wandered around the town for a bit not finding anything that would sell coffee and was just about to give up when she saw someone who looked like they new where they were. Going up to them she said, "Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to know where I could aquire some coffee would you?"

Ianto returned the woman's smile cautiously. He wasn't much prone to more than a sardonic or wry grin now and then himself. "It's somewhat hard to explain as I'm not 100% clear on how it works myself. I'll tell you what I know, and please remember that I am just relaying, not actually inventing this myself. There is a man here named Jareth who calls himself King. Of the goblins-- and there are goblins here, or at least some sort of--" he caught himself before he offered that the goblins might be alien, as most people weren't comfortable with the idea that aliens actually existed-- "species that looks like a goblin. Jareth has apparently plucked us all from our own places in time and space and placed us here. I can only think it's for his own amusement."

He took her hand and shook it firmly. "Pleased to meet you, Kathryn Janeway. Any idea which of the dormitories you're staying in yet?" He nodded toward the path in front of them. "Coffee is this way. My employer is here as well and he cannot function in the morning without coffee first thing."
