WHO: Alex and OTA
WHAT: Her arrival
WHEN: Early afternoon of Day 7
WHERE: just outside the amusement park
RATING: PG-13 for swearing
STATUS: active

Alex threw her cary-on onto floor and allowed herself to fall onto the matress. She shut her eyes as Cam followed behind her and did the same. Dylan was bringing up the suitcase but Alex didn't pay much attention to him. Alex knew that the trip to Coventry was going to be a bit rough, paying their last repsects to Karsh and meeting with Miranda--she still was hesitent about calling her mother--but nothing had prepared for what they had to endure. She just wanted to sleep it off. Forget it all for a while. Though when Cam started going on about Fredo's hand in their lives Alex was about to call the idea of sleep a lost cause. That is until Cam left the room to check up on her boyfriend and suddenly everything became quiet.

Hearing the faint noise of an amusement park nearby, confused Alex forced her eyes open. "What the hell?" she sat up on the concrete she had landed on and looked around. This was so not the room she shared with Cam back in Marble Bay. She stiffly stood up and began to try to find someone to demand what was going on. Was the some new trick the jelous witches were pulling on her again? Hadn't they gotten the hint that it was over for them back on Coventry?

Luna, personally, had been having a wonderful time in the amusement park. She'd finished clearing her room of hinklies, and had then spent the rest of the day on rides and eating sugar of various kinds. She blinked slowly at the sight before her, however. A girl had appeared out of no where. Wonderful! ...And not in any sarcastic way, either. Luna thought it was absolutely brilliant that she would get to meet someone new. Leaning over so far as to almost actually fall over, Luna looked down the girl, and then stumbled a bit back when she stood up. "Hullo."

Bright blue cotton candy in handy, Luna smiled serenely, eyes wide in what looked like shock, apart from the fact that she was indeed quite calm about the whole thing. "Welcome to the Underground." With a quick accio spell, she had another stick of the candy, this one pink, and she held it out for Alex. "You're going to need this."

Alex wasn't quite sure what to make of this girl suddenly standing before her. "Err...hi?" she attempted to offer. Though Alex wasn't much one for people skills. She gave Luna a confused look as she offered her welcome to the underground. Underground? What was this underground? Alex had never heard of such a thing. Though she thought she had finally made herself a bit better at preventing herself from being surprised; glancing around Alex couldn't help but feel that weird churn in the pit of her stomach when something not normal happened.

When the girl was able to conjure another stick of cotton candy Alex felt a little bit more comfortable being around another witch. "Thanks." she accepted the candy but didn't eat it right away. She held it between her hands, staring at the pink mass trying to figure out how best to form her next question. She did say the word 'Underground'. That was hardly Coventry. Coventry had nothing underground but some caves. But even then...though the girl did use magic to produce this cotton candy...

Alex pushed aside some pink and black dyed bangs out of her eyes as something to do. Well if the girl laughed at her it didn't much matter. She was used to the other witches and warlocks getting annoyed with her and Cam for not keeping up with things in Coventry. "Underground?"

Luna didn't laugh. She simply smiled, eyes wide and almost lost. "
Yes, Underground. Quite the lovely place, with magic and ballrooms and rollercoaster rides." She offered her hand for Alex, intent on showing this new girl everything. When she'd first arrived, the man she'd met had not beeen so welcoming, and that would simply not do, in this case.

"Ruled by a Sparkly King, Mister I'm told. You'll have a room, I don't reccommend it. Full of hinklies and twinklies and who knows what else." She shook her head, going quiet for a moment as she thought to herself about exactly what else could be in there, completely forgetting about Alex, and then gasped a little and looked up, continuing on as if she'd been talking the whole time.

"There's a Labyrinth, not safe or sane, but interesting. Leads to the sparkly city and the King's castle." And then she looked up, still smiling and sweetly asked, "Are you a muggle, a witch, or a vampire?" Which, of course, seemed like a completely impractical way of asking, but clever, in a way - if she wasn't a witch or a vampire, she was most likely a muggle, and if she didn't know either existed, she was definitely a muggle, and if she wasn't a muggle, she wouldn't want to be thought a muggle, and would tell Luna what she was. It made sense to her.

Alex glanced at the hand unsure of what this girl was talking about. Although she did seem rather nice and it was gonna be more of an explanation than she could ever get if she decided to venture off on her own. "What's your name?" she asked as she took her hand and followed her where she lead.

"Hinklies and twinklies...?" Alex gave her a confused look, "So...if not the room...where do you live?" She watched as she began to think of different things and Alex did her best to keep up. "Labyrinth--" she was about to ask a question but stopped walking the second she asked what she was. It was rather blunt and she had never told anyone what she was. It was against the rules. "Err...what are you?" she threw the question back at her. But...muggle...what the hell was that?

"Luna," she answered, tilting her head as she pulled Alex towards the main building. "Luna Lovegood."

Luna considered that for a moment. She hadn't really been staying anywhere, in her mind. She slept in her room, and wandered through the day. "Oh, wherever..." Was the answer that Alex finally got, her voice trailing off as if she was lost in thought.

At the question, though, she abruptly turned her head, smiling. "I'm a witch. We don't have to hide it here, don't worry."

Alex nodded to Luna, "Luna...alright...I'm Alex." she was going to offer her hand but instead continued to follow her.

Wherever. Alright that'll be something to try to figure out...Alex chose not to question Luna anymore and just continue following where she lead. Hopefully she will be able to find where to go and rest after the craziness of the day's events.

When Luna stopped abruptly so did Alex. Her eys went wide at Luna telling her the truth. "Uh...oh..." she awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck, "Well then if we're being honest an' all...I'm a witch as well..." Alex looked away unsure. No one outside of her immediate family: ie Karsh, Illeana and Cam; knew what she was. To be telling someone she had met only a moment ago was a bit odd for her.
