WHO: Caspian, Giselle, Legolas, Buffy, and Hermoine
WHAT: Going through the Labyrinth
WHEN: Day Seven, Dawn
WHERE: The Labyrinth
RATING: Given that Buffy's going, could be R
STATUS: Complete
NOTES: I'll adjust the posting order as people tag in

Caspian had never thought himself much of a leader. He didn't have the self-confidence, he believed, to take up the position and be effective. But, time and again, he was put in the position of authority, and time and again, he rose to the challenge, his yearning to do what was right outweighing his trepidations about his capability.

And so when it fell to him to lead this ragamuffin group through the labyrinth, he prepared for the journey as best as he could. While he was under the impression that every journey through the maze was different, fraught with dangers unlike the ones laid out before, he spoke to those he could about what would befall the group, and took it all into account. There was also the subject of provisions, as the journey could take days, even weeks to complete. That was a harder task to undertake, but from the three packs at his feet, it was fairly clear that Caspian had done all he could to ensure that, at the very least, the group would not starve.

So now, all the young king could do was wait, sitting on a low wall near the entrance, watching the sun rise over the changed city - which he really didn't have the mental capacity to ponder at the moment - and watched for his companions to arrive.

Faith hadn't said much on the subject of the Labyrinth once she'd gotten through other than the fact that it was relatively simple, that it was filled with the typical monsters, and then to be careful. 'Careful' wasn't a word that Buffy thought Faith even knew so after she'd raised an eyebrow she went off to the other slayer's room to collect a few weapons for the run.

She'd loaded up with a cross bow, a nifty sword which reminded her a little of the one she'd stuck through angel (she'd strapped it to her back and decided not to think about it too much), a couple of smaller knives and a handful of stakes. She wasn't entirely sure what to expect but she decided that it was better to be prepared than not. She stuck a few bottles of holy water into her pockets and then decided to go for other supplies. Rope, a few bottles of water, and a small first-aid kit that she'd found in her room all got tucked into a bag that she slung over one shoulder along with the stakes, and extra cross-bow bolts.

She'd already been dressed for slayage so she didn't need to change, though thank-god she found clean, relatively cute underwear in her room. She had a moment to wonder exactly who the hell was running this place and how.

Once she was clean, dressed and fully decked out with weapons and supplies she headed out to find the guy she was supposed to meet. He wasn't hard to find hanging outside the huge wall by the entrance to the labyrinth and he'd picked up a few others that she assumed would be joining them. Looking over the group she frowned. The dark-haired boy was a honey and looked reasonably in shape but he was a bit young. The other man looked like he'd walked out of a fairytale and the girl seemed more likely to scream running at the first snarly beast that popped out at them. She sighed feeling defeated, but decided she wasn't going to get anywhere being rude and judgmental. She supposed to the casual observer she didn't look like much either.

"Hey there," she greeted the group upon arrival. "I'm Buffy. I . . . don't know any of your names, sorry. I'm new here."
