Willow had been besides herself when she opened up her journal that morning with breakfast and saw familiar had writing that was totally unmistakable, so much in fact the red-headed witch almost choked on her tea. Emotions flooded her from excitement to worry then back to concern as she put away her things then dressed to hunt down her best friend. Did this mean that Buffy was dead too? No that couldn't be right, she wasn't dead and neither were the other people here.

But who was going to Slay the Vampires? And who was going to take care of poor Dawnie if Buffy, Tara and herself were in this place of all places with no way of returning to Sunnydale. Or was Faith really right and the place was their home really blown to bits? Buffy, Buffy would have the answers, if not the which would still just be as lost as before. Putting on her brown leather jacket against the rain then made way to the other dorm, they were really not as nice as the ones in the university. Hopefully they could all work together and figure out a way out of this mess.

Taking a deep breath Willow knocked on the door franticly hoping it wasn't too late and that Buffy had not already gone exploring to get to the bottom of things on her own. “Come on Buff, it's me Willow open up, I swear it's all safe and stuff!” She spoke to the door hoping to coax her best friend out. Biting her lip she pushed a long red strand of hair behind her ear and rocked on her heels, which made her long flowing skirt sway as she waited impatiently.

"And this lead to him and me making with the smoochies how? I mean come on he has more bleach in his hair than my mom uses to clean the bathtub, plus the whole evil vamp thing. " Buffy made a face and tried to picture that and couldn't do it without feeling the urge to burst out laughing or vomit. Spike as she knew him was so not even an option.

Buffy listened to her whole tale about Willow's decent into darkness and magical rehab and by the time she got to Xander's demon and Giles, Buffy was openly gaping at her. Her mind was racing, protesting the information given and she was fighting an instinct to cover her ears as if she knew somehow the information was forbidden to her, or should be.

Finally she stood, slipping her hands gently out of Willow's and began pacing the room, uncertain what to say or how to react. She took a moment to gather her thoughts and then pulled in a deep breath and let it out slowly before facing her again.

"Okay, so . . . wow. I . . . I don't really know where to start . . . and, and y'know . . . no. No questions. No questions from Buffy. I'm just gonna . . . eesh." She made a face and sat back down trying to look apologetic and not at all how she felt which was on the verge of screaming from information overload. She tried one more time to get herself together and slightly less insane sounding. "I'm thinking . . . I'm thinking that you probably shouldn't tell me anything else. I mean . . . as of right now, if I go back I'm probably gonna go find this Warren kid and pound his face into a table. And maybe that will stop him from shooting me and then killing your girlfriend, or maybe it won't. But if it does, potentially that's a good thing, in theory, except it's like in those science fiction shows Xander likes so much. I stop him from killing her but maybe something worse happens as a result, or something just as bad. I don't think I want to know anything else about what's supposed to happen. Too much pressure . . . I know that makes meaningful conversation a little difficult but, but I think it's the right thing to do."

Willow watched the reaction from her friend she figured was coming but Willow had to share had to tell someone what had gone on and what was going on, besides if she didn't at least address some of it Buffy would feel shut out and she didn't want to do that. Some times she felt bad for not being able to control her tongue.

Willow stood and walked over to where the frantically pacing Buffy was standing, Willow simply reached out and touched her friends arm. "It's ok, I know this is all so unbelievable and hard for you to hear. I'm sorry I kind of just let it all out like that but it was mostly just piling on top of me starting to ya know just smoosh me." She sighed but smiled at the younger blonde. "You're my best friend and as odd as it all is I am glad you are here."

"Do you want to go for pancakes maybe? And I promise no crazy talk to over load your brains. There must still be other things we can talk about...or um, if you need time to just, be alone and veggie it out I can leave you be. It's your choice." Willow hugged Buffy. "We'll be ok, we always are."

"I think I'm actually going to beg a raincheck on those pancakes," Buffy gave her an apologetic look. "Nothing personal but I just had dinner with mom a few hours ago so I'm kind of stuffed . . . and I think that you're right. I need to get my head on straight. I know, I know. Giles would say I should be ready for every situation, but I don't think that they covered this in the slayer-handbook. I'll be honest I'm kind of wigging. I think the best thing I can do right now is maybe catch a few hours of sleep and tackle this head on once I wake up."

She worried that Willow's feelings would be hurt for backing out on more time together, but she was a little overwhelmed. As much as she'd insisted that Willow was Willow was Willow, she was but then wasn't at the same time. Everything about this place was all topsy turvy and here her best friend was older than her, a bit more confident even though she'd obviously been through a hell of a lot, and Buffy was . . . scared. She hated to admit it but she'd never been in a situation that she wasn't certain she couldn't get out of before at least somewhere in her subconscious. Now she was lost, overwhelmed, and a little frightened. There were people here she had responsibilities to, only they weren't the same as she had last seen them. It was a little staggering to say the least.
