This land was an unusual one, and yet, the way it appeared at first glance reminded Cimorene of her home in Linderwall. It had been years since she'd visited the castle where she'd grown up, and yet, every carved pillar, every piece of fabric, reminded her of her former home. Not that that had given her much hope, as familiar surroundings could only do so much. She'd found her quarters easily enough, and though they left something to be desired, they would do until she got out of this place. There was no thought of adapting or succumbing to her fate, no. She was going home. It was only a matter of time.

Unfortunately, every spell in her admittedly limited arsenal was useless. Either the magic didn't work her, or it wouldn't penetrate whatever the hold was on this place to reach the Enchanted Forest and her friends. She wished, not for the first time, that Morwen were here. The witch always had an idea, and even if she didn't, she was a highly practical person would could make lemonade out of the most rotten lemons. Lost and frustrated, Cimorene left her crown behind, not needing the extra attention, and then made her way down to the stables. Perhaps she'd go for a ride, though she certainly wasn't attired properly, but mostly, she was looking for a place to be alone, to achieve a bit of centering that she needed, so that she could think of a way to get herself out of this mess.

Her fingers brushed along the mane of a handsome chestnut stallion, and her normally clipped voice was soft and comforting to the beast, who seemed a bit rattled, not at her presence, but at something else. Cimorene wondered if he had been ripped from his home just as she had. "Something will happen," she cooed, and the horse nuzzled her jaw, making her smile, just as she heard a step behind her, and whirled around, her hand ripping her sword from the scabbard and her eyes flashing in collected panic.

OOC: Sorry I missed this!

Healer snorted. "Many things shouldn't be possible yet are." She'd filed the other two's names away, and more or less dismissed them from consideration. Yes, the one had a sword, but she was obviously touched in the head if she claimed to belong to a dragon. And the other seemed all too normal. Though the reaction to their captor's name was interesting.

She snapped her gaze over to Sarah. "You know him?" she asked.

Cimorene reacted to Sarah's reaction the same way that Healer did. She locked eyes on the girl and straightened up, almost ready to take off running or something.

"Who is he, Sarah?"

"You could say that, I met him when I was sixteen. He kidnapped my baby brother and in order to get him back I had to win at his Labyrinth." Sarah hadn't even thought about Jareth, the Labyrinth, or anything else related to her 13 hours spent within its constantly changing walls in almost over ten years.

The deep and horrible feeling that was churning her stomach made her feel like she was going to have to take a moment to clear the contents of her stomach. Sarah however, swallowed and begun to take a few steps beyond the pair. She wanted to see outside, and she made her way towards an opening in the horse stables until she could see clear out and across the city. Sure enough in the distance, beyond the walls of the Labyrinth lay the same castle she found her way to as a child.

"He's a horrible man!" Sarah finally said as anger settled into her features. None of this was fair in the least, and this time it really wasn't, as she doubted anyone here had wished themselves away. A hand reached up towards her face to allow her fingers to squeeze at her temple. "He's got to be kidding if he thinks he can get away with this."

"You two didn't wish yourselves here, or someone else you know ... did you?" She was just checking, mistakes happen after all. She did it herself once upon a time.

Healer let out a short sardonic laugh with no humor in it. Always, always. Just when things couldn't get any worse, just when she thought they'd hit bottom, someone had to start digging.

"He has gotten away with it" she said, bitterness lacing her tone. "And like a true coward he hides in his little castle, unwilling to actually confront us." She growled slightly in frustration and crossed to where Sarah was looking out at the Labyrinth.

"I had only wished to go home" she said quietly, almost a whisper. She looked up at the unfamiliar sky and had to quash a sudden upwelling of homesickness. "I will get home" she said, this time a bit louder, and far, far more bitter.

Cimorene listened with wide eyes, and when Sarah was done, she slumped against the wall of the stable and covered her face with her hands. This was going from bad to worse. He'd gotten away with it before, and it very much looked like Healer was right. He was getting away with it again.

"We'll fight," she said resolutely, standing up again and squaring her shoulders. "He may have the upper hand, but I don't intend to let him keep it for long."

"This is his world, his rules ... the only way to fight Jareth is to take on one of this challenges." Which meant playing on his rules, and probably taking on the Labyrinth all over again.

"I'll help... I'm not sure if this place is the same as before, but I did it before. I can do it again." She didn't want to stay here, she hadn't even wanted to stay here the first time despite it really being what she had wished for.

Healer narrowed her eyes, her upper lip lifting in a snarl. "It doesn't end, does it?" she snarled, beginning to pace. "Always someone on a power trip, sitting on their golden throne thinking they control everything." Her voice rose and fell as she paced, and it was very obvious she wasn't talking to anyone in particular. "Not this time" she spat. "I won't let someone do this. Not now, not to me."

She spun and pointed a finger at Sara, her eyes blazing with barely contained anger. "You've been here before. How did you get out?"

Cimorene nodded and mirrored the Healer's irritation. "It's the way of the world, I believe. No matter which world we're discussing," she muttered under her breath, shaking her head.

Then she looked to Sarah for any kind of information, any kind of help. There had to be some way to get home.

"I told you, you need to take on one of Jareth's challenges. In this case, he'll probably have you make your way through his Labyrinth and to his Castle beyond the Goblin City. Of course, you'll need to complete it in a certain number of hours. Also, it changes as you make your way through it. Some walls are invisible, there are monsters, and not to mention the Bog of Eternal Stench." The name gave away what horrors awaited you there, just thinking about the place almost made her wretch.

Sarah looked towards the ground thoughtfully, "I wouldn't rush to take him on just yet. If he's dragging more people to this place, its not right to leave anyone who doesn't want to be here behind." Besides there was strength in numbers, and Sarah knew from experience if she hadn't had her friends with her, she probably would have failed.
