This land was an unusual one, and yet, the way it appeared at first glance reminded Cimorene of her home in Linderwall. It had been years since she'd visited the castle where she'd grown up, and yet, every carved pillar, every piece of fabric, reminded her of her former home. Not that that had given her much hope, as familiar surroundings could only do so much. She'd found her quarters easily enough, and though they left something to be desired, they would do until she got out of this place. There was no thought of adapting or succumbing to her fate, no. She was going home. It was only a matter of time.

Unfortunately, every spell in her admittedly limited arsenal was useless. Either the magic didn't work her, or it wouldn't penetrate whatever the hold was on this place to reach the Enchanted Forest and her friends. She wished, not for the first time, that Morwen were here. The witch always had an idea, and even if she didn't, she was a highly practical person would could make lemonade out of the most rotten lemons. Lost and frustrated, Cimorene left her crown behind, not needing the extra attention, and then made her way down to the stables. Perhaps she'd go for a ride, though she certainly wasn't attired properly, but mostly, she was looking for a place to be alone, to achieve a bit of centering that she needed, so that she could think of a way to get herself out of this mess.

Her fingers brushed along the mane of a handsome chestnut stallion, and her normally clipped voice was soft and comforting to the beast, who seemed a bit rattled, not at her presence, but at something else. Cimorene wondered if he had been ripped from his home just as she had. "Something will happen," she cooed, and the horse nuzzled her jaw, making her smile, just as she heard a step behind her, and whirled around, her hand ripping her sword from the scabbard and her eyes flashing in collected panic.

Sarah found herself awaking on a bed of hay to the strange flash of lights and music somewhere closer by. A soft sound escaped her lips as she tried to rub the daze of sleep out of her head. The sight of straw bits that clung to her sleeve was a rather confusing site, she figured maybe Morgan had dragged some in from somewhere outside. It wasn't until she shifted herself upright that she found her surroundings to be quite different from the last thing she remembered.

Sarah wondered if she was still dreaming, though it had been ages since she dreamed of anything so vivid and real. She did what any normal minded woman in her position would do, pinch themselves. A sharp cry of ow later, Sarah had come to the conclusion that she probably wasn't dreaming.

As Sarah stretched up to her feet she begun to recount all the things she remembered doing since she woke up. She had gotten home around eight o' clock, feed Morgan, and made tea around ten right before she sat down to grade papers. Was that all? She wondered curiously. However, her train of thought was broken when she noticed two women standing a few stalls away. One with a Sword and the other wearing a rather revealing outfit.

What had she found herself in the middle of?
