She couldn’t help but pause a moment before taking a hold of the other’s hand to help raise her self up off of the floor. Once standing her eyes searched over the room as hands quickly straightened and dusted off the elegant dress that had moments ago just been on the floor. Letting her eyes drop for a moment her brain went into over drive trying to figure out what was going on. Could it be a memory spell again? Maybe it was something else? Magic could do amazing and strange things to anyone.

Willow’s words pulled Tara out of her thoughts again and eyes slipped over to where Willow was glaring. Getting a shiver from the creep-factor from the painting she nodded and looked away from the item. However, the theory on what was going on drew her eyes back to the redhead. “Different… times…” The words were low and her brows furrowed in thought. That could…. Well, would, make sense. If others were having issues with the same thing it would prove this theory easily. However, the blond witch her self hadn’t heard anything of these issues. Further research would be needed before a final conclusion was reached, but that did make a great deal of sense at this point. More so then anything Tara her self had been able to come up with as of yet.

Blue eyes raised to meet green as Willow questioned her. “I, um… yes. I remember.” Suddenly Tara felt her self go cold. Willow had witnessed her death. Tara had died in the same room as Willow if all of this was true. How horrible was that? How would she have felt if Willow had died in front of her? The blond witch visibly shook at the internalized notion with arms crossing over her own abdomen. It explained a great deal on why Willow looked different and why the other woman was in such shambles at seeing her. Just the other day her biggest concern was trying to figure out how and if she could get back together with Willow. If they would fit in each other’s lives and now… Now she had found out the results of her decision. Her wants and desires had over come her, Willow had proven her ability to keep things under control and another shot had been given to their relationship in Willow’s time. No wonder why they were reacting so differently to each other. It was all… so…. So confusing.

Shifting the blond witch continued to listen to Tara’s story giving a nod to show she was listening. This was all unbelievable, but it seemed like it was really happening, really real. It was all just so mind boggling. Swallowing in attempts to calm her emotions Tara lifted her gaze to meet Willow’s again, everything seemed so different but at the same time it was all so similar. This was Willow, her Willow. Even with all the problems, they had still longed for each other, it was obvious.

The feelings of fingers lightly pressing over her chest brought the blond back to the situation at hand. The words were telling, harsh and painfully true. It caused a deep aching in Tara’s heart as each one was presented with heart wrenching honesty. With the removal of Willow eyes and fingers her heart dropped some in her chest. “W-Will.” Unsure what to say a pause consumed the air between them for a moment. “You… you’ve changed since I last knew you and…I, I do believe what you’re saying. But this is just…” Swallowing she shook her head slightly with eyes falling to the floor. “All of this is just so different, so challenging.” Hesitating for a moment Tara then stepped forward, reaching out and touching Willow’s shoulder softly. “I love you and I always will, but right now. I need time. There’s so much going on here. Right now. With us and with everything that’s going on around us.” Fingers continued to rest on the redhead’s shoulder. “I think… I believe, if we try… if we both really want this. We could… we can work this out.”
