Labyrinth OOC

Hi everyone! It's that time again...activity check! It was a pretty full one, so listen up. Everyone got out of May sweeps due to various reasons beyond most people's control, so I had to crack down on this one.

As a reminder, the basic rule of activity here at Labyrinth is one post per character every two weeks. If a player has more than one character, each character is only required to post once per month, but every character must be active. This post can either be an RP thread or a first person journal entry so long as the entry is more than a line or two.

It's 1AM EST (GST -5) on Saturday, July 5th. If you're on this list, you have until 1AM EST Friday, July 10th to post to the RP community or a personal journal entry for your character or you'll risk being swept over the weekend.

We all make mistakes, and if you think there's an error, by all means let me know and I'll check into it. Get to posting and I'll cross your names off the list as you do. Thanks guys!

For this sweeps, I removed all of those who said they weren't keeping their character whether they were active or not. I also have no one officially on hiatus. Alej might've been, but she was safe anyway! ;D

So now, as before, two lists, one of Inactive Characters, who haven't posted at all this month, and one of inactive players, ones who did not post at least once every two weeks in the month of April. You have until Friday May 15 at 11:59pm PST (GST +8) to get a significant journal post or thread start for your character(s) if you are on this list, or you will be removed from the game.

Note that just because this was a late sweeps (SORRY!!), you're still responsible for May sweeps as well!

Let's see if we can't pick up May's activity and make this the easiest darn sweeps I've ever done!

So as most of you know, labyrinth_rpg has been open for one month. YAY! *does the happy dance* But, along with our one month celebration, it's also that dreaded time of the month--ACTIVITY CHECK! Also known as Sweeps, it's that time where we comb through the game and find out who's pulling their weight!

The process will go like this: Once a month (usually on the first Friday of the month, this will be an exception), I'll go through the last month of the game (in this case, March 1-March 31), and see that every single character has some form of activity. Per the rules, each player should be active every other week, and if that player has more than one character, each character should be active once a month. So if you have only one character, you're required to interact with them at least every other week. Then the list of inactive players/characters will be posted to the OOC community. You then have three days to get an active thread or journal entry posted for your character before you'll basically be turned over to Jen for Sweeps. (For the record, this is Viki so you don't think Jen's talking in third person)

I also noticed a lot of players skating by with barely a post, or a thread with one or two replies at best. Remember, the more you play, even with random OTAs, the more likely plot is to fall into your lap! I won't count those against anyone this month, and probably not next either. But if that's a recurring problem, I'll get mean, and we don't want that! ♥
