Who: Tristan and Jax
When: Week Five: Wednesday, December 31st, midday
Where: the gym
Summary: Tristan finally can't take the cold anymore
Warnings/Rating: low
Status: complete
The perpetual cold and layers upon layers of snow had finally driven Tristan to take Lily's advice, given back a couple weeks ago when the daytime temperatures had been in the eighties. Even for a guy who wasn't cold natured and had the added bonus of being a supernatural creature, it was becoming too much. After this experience, he might never want to camp again. What he was really hoping was that this Jax dude would have some kind of suggestion for him even if there was no job offer forthcoming. These folks knew the town and he didn't. He frowned slightly as he thought of the girl he'd spoken to in the cemetery a couple of days ago. She'd had wings and some very profound theories about the town where he now lived. Tristan wasn't sure what to think about that, and he'd finally decided to wait and see if what she'd said was the truth once he had somewhere to stay. One thing at a time, and if he froze his 'nads off, none of it would matter that much anyway. Tristan walked through the main door of the gym, pausing to inhale a deep breath of the much warmer air and then exhale it. He'd be able to take off his jacket soon and wouldn't feel so out of place. In the meantime, he lingered for a few moments, looking curiously around and waiting for that moment when he'd warmed up enough to ask somebody if Jax was around. |
