how to use a custom font on ij
1. upload the font* you want to use to a data URI generator like dopiaza, which will turn the file into a long string of text.
2. upload a .css file** on a webhost like neocities or tumblr with the webfont information. you can use font squirrel's webfont generator for this, or use the code below (this tutorial uses the code below):
3. replace the font-family name with whatever you want to call the font and replace the URL with the long string of text the URI generator gave you when you uploaded your font.
4. save your .css file, then place the URL to the .css file in the following code, which you'll place in your ij overrides below the global head tag and above the tag:
5. now use your font!
*most fonts are going to have a .ttf (truetype font) extension. if it doesn't, you'll have to change the format in the webfont code (step 2) to match whichever you're using. this page goes into more detail.
**you have to host the .css file on your own because the string of text from the URI generator is too long to put in your ij overrides
