She was right. Resurrection was never pretty. Nothing about it was pretty. It never turned out right. And the price was always too large-- furthermore, she was right about creating something from nothing. Li-Ming sure was smart. And beautiful. Incredible, even. And he'd only just met her. Harry wasn't right about this woman at all, Alphonse thought she was brilliant.
As she went on about Alchemy hitting a way, he nodded. She was right. They couldn't create something from nothing and they couldn't create souls. And honestly, Al hoped they'd never figure out creating souls. Bringing one back, yes.. creating one? That power didn't belong in the hands of men.
"The limbs seem to handle Alchemy just fine, I'm sure magic wouldn't be that different." His brother had an automail arm, but he wasn't eager to tell her that, it wasn't his secret to tell and Ed was very shy about his body. Al, on the other hand, wasn't shy at all. He didn't have a shy bone in his body and even though he was missing both his legs, he didn't feel strange about it. He didn't mind if anyone knew. Ed preferred to hide it.
"I'm still looking for a place you can give me a demonstration of your magic, I'm very excited about it." He gave a slight swing to their joined hand. Boyish child that he was. He was glad to have made a friend.
