The mention of a way to restore limbs was a curious one, and one that was interesting. However, her interest had been caught by the mention of resurrection. This was a topic she knew some of. Not like the Priests of Rathma, who hoarded their knowledge, but she'd crossed several unspoken boundaries when she'd set out to return the very thing so unjustly taken from her friend. "Resurrection is never pretty." That she knew. She'd failed a lot before she'd found Hope. "Creating something from nothing though." Sighing she shook her head. "So far, I have only known those capable of birth to be able to give life in such a manner. And even then that is not making something from nothing. Pregnancy is it's own sort of thing."
She smiled slightly. A woman her age might have been married in the mage clans. She had a legacy to think of and it was not yet one she troubled herself too much over. One day, she'd see her bloodline continue. she had time. She had to find more answers before she did anything there though. "This is where your Alchemy runs into the walls I spoke of. Logic and fact say with these things life is possible." She held up her free hand, "but here is the unnamed thing your logic cannot count for. Souls. That, you cannot create. Even giving birth entails those. Somewhere, a child becomes more. It stops being flesh and bone at some point. Where, I cannot say. I think when a child draws breath it begins being mortal."
She hadn't really put much stock into that, because she had yet to see a pregnancy, or experience it, but she held a theory it had it's own sort of magic. She shrugged and settled on the second point he'd brought up. "A return of limbs. Curious. I would wonder if it would be able to withstand magic." Just in case. Losing a limb would be nothing. Losing the ability to channel her magic? That might just kill her.
