Gilda Dent ([info]needaholiday) wrote in [info]knightsfall,

Need a Holiday
Who: Gilda, Harvey and OPEN
Where: The Narrows, aka Arkham City
When: Two days after the Arkham breakout
What: Gilda is asked by the GPD to negotiate

Gilda was jumpy, anxious; Jim could see it. And it made him feel guiltier that he was asking this of her. "You don't have to," he told her for the hundredth time. "Gilda, we can find another way." She gave him one of her timid, brave smiles and his heart broke all over again.

"I'm okay," she assured him, clutching her purse in both hands. The Narrows were crawling with more danger than before; hell, she could get mugged and killed before she ever saw any signs of the Arkham escapees. But it was the only chance they had. She started forward, aware of the cop cars at her back, watching her, aware of the click of her heels echoing in near silence, as she at first hesitantly made her way across the bridge. Traffic had been stopped. It was like walking in an empty city. It seemed to take her forever to reach the other side; she looked back once, smiled at the small figure of Jim Gordon on the other side and moved forward into the dark, decaying streets.

She was spotted. But she was also recognized, thankfully. So they came to Two-Face first.

"Sirs," the lackey said, "there's a woman outside. Gilda Dent." He was unsure whether to call her his wife, his ex-wife, so he went with the full name.

He raised one eyebrow, the only one that could be raised. "Bring her in," he said. "Unharmed. And so help us God, if she is harmed--"

"She won't be, sirs," the lackey assured him and went back out.

"Gilda Dent," Harley said as if tasting the name. "Oh, Dr. D! That's your girl!"

"I like that," Harvey purred. "My girl."

Ivy snorted. "Which one?" she murmured to Harley, knowing she wouldn't really get the joke, but trying it anyway. Hatter was nearby, and he cackled, but then again, he did that anyway, so Ivy wasn't sure whether or not he'd heard and understood.

Gilda let herself be led, now clutching the purse over her shoulder against her chest, her two arms folding over it, protectively away from the men leading her. She didn't ask them any questions. They could be leading her to an empty apartment to rape her to death, for all she knew. But she knew they wouldn't, because she knew he was here somewhere, watching out for her. Like he always did.

"Riddle me this," Riddler chimed in, and Ivy scoffed rolling her eyes, "what has ears but no eyes or voice?"

"He's right, she'll be wearing a wire," Ivy surprised herself by agreeing. "We get to it before any of us says anything."

Gilda heard that vaguely as she was led toward them and offered up her pursed, gesturing down to it with her chin. 'In the lining,' she mouthed as a lackey searched through it. She jumped with a little shriek when it was thrown to someone else and promptly blown up, leaving a back scorch on the ground and little of the knock-off handbag. It could leave little doubt that Jim Gordon wasn't listening anymore.

"Baby!" she declared, running to Harvey, kissing one side of his mouth and then the other, and then pressing her lips to what was left of his ruined mouth and kissing his deeply.

"GUH-ROSS!" Harley announced, then squeaked and covered her mouth. "Er, uh, that is to say, sorry."

But Harvey wasn't minding what was being said around him. He had both arms wrapped around Gilda slim waist, nearly pulling her off the floor with the force of his embrace. The kiss was deep enough that the ruined side of his face showed their tongues dancing.

He pulled back carefully and ran a hand softly over her hair. "So they brought you straight to us. They solved a little dilemma we were having, about how we should get you to our new home. Tell us everything they wanted, darling. Everything."

((Mad Hatter Day is October 6th or 7th, by the way, LOL! I just thought it was sorta perfect! xP))

Ivy subtly put a hand over her mouth and retched into it. This caught Gilda's attention and drew a stare that narrowed into a suspicious little grimaced. She weaved her fingers through Harley's. "Harls," she murmured. "I don't think I'm the most popular person in the room at the moment. Maybe I'll go see about those plastic jack-o'-lanterns you wanted."

"You wanted me here?" Gilda asked in a small voice, always so hopeful, so affectionate. "It was Jim," she told Harvey, both of him. "He had the idea of sending me in" She ran her hand lovingly along the ruined side of his face. "They wanted to know about the Joker, if he was here. They knew you'd be here, and in charge in some capacity, which is why he chose me. But they're still unsure about the clown. It's shaken Jim, just like you knew it would.

"I almost told them, no. I didn't want to be a snitch, didn't want to be their puppet, and taking the chance... Nothing was guaranteed. But then I looked at my calendar, the one you sent me, the Holiday A Day one, and it said it was Mad Hatter Day, and I thought that must be good luck!"

She kissed along his chin, feeling the burnt skin and bone on one side beneath the gentle flutter of her soft lips. "You really missed me, my loves? Both of you?"

"Ivy," Harley said, her tone bouncy and excited. "That would be a real treat. Get it!? Treat!" She peeked at the others, then smiled at her. "I'll go with."

"You know you're the only woman for us," he said softly, his hand playing gently in her hair. "That's how it was always meant to be, you and me and me." He laughed at this, tickled with himselves. "We would've come for you, but we can't exactly go waltzing through town these days." He pressed his face against her hair and breathed in the scent. "We're very glad."

He nodded to her. "You did the right thing. Chances are, they'll think the worst has happened and not risk anyone else for some time. This might actually buy us some time to think, plan. The Narrows are ours..." He looked to the Riddler and Hatter. "But that's not nearly enough."

Ivy squeezed her hand as she led her away. "Anything for you, pumpkin," she told her, knowing the stupid pun would tickle her nevertheless. "And I didn't want to be in there anymore," she said, glancing over her shoulder. "Do you think they can, you know, perform conjugal acts anymore? Such a shame; when I had him, he was flawless. Like an orchid. Don't worry and don't pout," she said quickly, "you know I prefer my little Harley-rose."

"Arkham City!" declared the Riddler. "This is only Little Arkham now! So many willing hoods to recruit for our army.... Ow!" he declared as the Hatter stuck his bony elbow into Riddler's ribs.

"She doesn't need to know all of our plans," he hissed. "She's already fallen down, down, down into the rabbit hole. Such a pretty little girl, lost in our dark and dirty Wonderland...."

Gilda pressed herself into him, ignoring them. "Bruce Wayne came to see me, too," she told him with a slight frown. "I couldn't figure out what he wanted." She smiled again. "Calendar Man, you did that for me, didn't you?"

Harley did giggle at being called pumpkin. She loved it when Ivy played with her the way she wanted to be played with. Even if she knew she was often too silly. "You like you're Harley good and rosy," she announced, swinging their held hands between them.

"I bet Mr. D can still have some fun," Harley said with a smirk. "There's more than one way to have a little good time. Lots of ways."

Harvey glared at the two of them, then cast his gaze back down at her where she was huddled in the protective circle of his arms. "If we know Bruce like we used to, which was little but still, he wanted to know how you were, what you were thinking. And what he could tell anyone who would listen. He thinks he's so sly, but we're sneakier still. We know he plays at games of grandeur, things he couldn't possibly grasp."

He smiled at her. "Yes, our sweet. We did. Just for you. And when you get that itch, we'll be there to help you give it a good scratch." He ran a hand up and down her back. Then to the other two, "won't we, boys!?"

"Yeah," Ivy cooed, the tilt of her eyebrows suggestive, "and we know some of the best. Still, the idea of Harvey...." She curled her lip and shuddered a little. "Whatever works for them, I suppose. But maybe he really did marry the better woman. Especially since she wasn't trying to kill him at the time."

"He acted all concerned," Gilda confirmed, "but it felt like he was fishing. They all think I'm so... timid, and weak." She curled her fingers in his thick blond hair. "They don't know me like you do, like my boys do. Do they?"

"Sure thing, boss," Riddler answered right away, earning a sideways glare from Hatter. Some weren't quite as comfortable as others with Dent's role as their leader, though it was undeniable that they would never have been able to organize what he had. Riddler was just happy to be carrying on with what he wanted to do, with Harvey's support. He'd been sterner with other, like Hatter and his... proclivities. Subtlety, the man with two faces had told him.

"You know it, Dent," Hatter added grudgingly.

"All I need is your help," she cooed to Harvey, running her hands up and down his chest, making the Riddler clear his throat loudly. "Just like before--right, my boys?" She'd become Holiday only because she had wanted more time with Harvey, wanted to cut down all that workload that had kept him away from home. But it brought them together in a different way now, partners in crime. The man she loved absolutely unconditionally. She was getting wet just thinking about it. "Halloween's coming up. You know it's my favorite time of year."

"Nas-tee!" Harley agreed. "You could see his tongue through that hole in his face. YEESH!" She squeezed Ivy's hand. "You know what, sugar blossom? If you'd-ah gone with him, if he'd-ah taken you, then I wouldn't have you now. So maybe it's best. I don't know nothing about Gilda or whether she's better, but I know I got who I want."

Harvey's smile widened, his eyes glinting. It had been a while, but he could still read what his girl wanted when she wanted it. "Boys, clear out for just a bit. And..." He said this in particular to Hatter. "Behave yourselves."

There was a desk and office chair in the room, and he moved Gilda toward it with him, plopping down and pulling her into his lap. "It makes you so festive," he grinned at her, "Halloween. You wanna be our First Lady of crime, Gilda? Do you want to make us the happiest men we've ever been."

"Honeysuckle," Ivy said with a predatory smile, "if I'd gotten him, he'd be dead by now." She skipped back a step and to her side, so she was behind Harley now, putting an arm possessively around her. She ran a finger down the side of Harley's face. "And I'd still have what and who I want, which is you." She pressed her breasts up against Harley's back. "But what about your Mr. J, hm? Would you still want your Red if he were around?"

Riddler was grinning, though he felt like a chastised child as he skulked out of the room. "We always miss the good stuff."

Hatter shrugged a shoulder carelessly, pouting openly. "It would be more impressive if it were less, if you catch my drift," he sniffed. Of course, Riddler didn't. "Edward, my dear friend, though I do express a bit of curiosity as to exactly how it would work, the mysteries that are woman are false promises. Little girls on the other hand...."

"Wanna get high?" Riddler asked him, and Hatter tutted, rolling his eyes. Then answered, yes.

"You know I do," Gilda purred, straddling him, the tight business skirt she was wearing sliding up her pantyhose to her upper thighs. Her hands were everywhere: on the Harvey she had known, and on the ruined side, the new man who loved her just as well. "I want to be your Holiday," she murmured, brushing her mouth against his. "Oh, it's been such a long time!"

"Well, I didn't even think of what it would be like without my puddin' until he was... ka-put," Harley said. "He always told me what to do and how to do it. I didn't have to think about nothin', especially not what I'd do without him."

She wasn't sure she was explaining herself very clearly, that her world had been Joker and that Ivy had probably saved her from a truly irreversible madness by reaching out a hand to her.

"I'm a happier Harley now," she said. "That's for sure."

"Long, long time," Harvey agreed, pushing her skirt up further. "You're just what we'd hoped. You don't look at us the way the others do. You us completely."

He reached between them and undid his belt and zipper, then rooted around under her skirt until he'd ripped her pantyhose and shoved her underwear to the side. She was wet and ready; he could feel that much. There was no need to delay, and he entered her swiftly, a little rough. He was tempted to ask questions of the coin, but for once, both halves of him were in utter agreement. Both were in need, so there was no point in deliberating.

"Good," purred Ivy, giving Harley a little squeeze. "You drive me crazy sometimes, but I do like my happy Harley." She gasped suddenly, and bounced a little. "Speaking of your Mr. J," she said, biting her lip, that slightly unhinged tone coming into her voice, "I think I just had a genius idea, Harls! We have a hostage now... of sorts," she conceded. "You know how the clown liked to get a bit... camera happy? I say we take a nice little video of our Mrs. Dent. She can be acting or, you know, if Two-Face isn't around, we could use actual torture! That'd be fun! But we could throw them off again, you know? Get them all unsure. Especially the Bat." She gritted her teeth.

"He wouldn't let me in my garden," she started to rant, "the Batman told them not to let me in my garden, just because I tried out a tiny bit of my nightshade on that pervert guard. I'll give him one of my special kisses one day, oh yes I will." She blinked, coming back to herself.

Gilda grunted, not an ugly sound, not guttural but more needful and a bit surprised and delighted by his urgency and his roughness. "You'll always be my men," she gasped, arching her hips and moving over him, fast, hard. "My beautiful, beautiful men," she moaned between kisses.

Harley stood with her head tilted, nodding and grinning, then began to get a little alarmed at this new rant. Not because it was violent, but because Ivy was only half with her. She was half out of her mind somewhere, talking mostly to herself.

"I think you got real good ideas, Ivy," Harley said with a grin. "Real good ones. I bet Mr. D would think they were just great. But... he'd rip our lungs out if we hurt Mrs. D, I think. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how it would go."

Harvey was rougher than he meant to be, but that was always how it went for him in all things. He meant to unbutton her blouse, but instead he ripped it open and tore at her bra until her breasts were exposed to his touch. He meant to only buck a little, but he was throwing his pelvis up hard enough to jolt her. But hell if she wasn't enjoying it. He grabbed her hair and kissed her hard on the mouth, bending her to him as he pushed inside her.

Ivy tutted, holding back a sharp comment about what Harvey could do with his disapproval. He'd gotten them out, and she was grateful for that, as much as she ever could be, but now that he thought he was gonna call all the shots... Well, Ivy'd just have to see to that sooner or later. "We're gonna have some real good fun here, you believe that, Harley?" she said smoothly. "We'll talk to Dent when he's... finished with business. Which shouldn't take too long."

Gilda, submissive as ever, eager to please, going out of her mind with pleasure, feeling him inside of her again, his hands on her, his mouth. Her small hands were desperate to touch him, fumbling with the buttons of his shirt, slipping inside. And she was ready to finish too soon, whimpering his name, her endearments for him, for them both.

"Oh, I know it, Red," Harley grinned. "Great fun. Big fun. The kind of fun where you hit with a hammer over and over until all the good stuff comes out. Sticky confetti like a parade!" She giggled and just brought herself under control. "Much more fun that we coulda had in that stuffy old place back there. Two-Face'll see. We'll show him, right?"

He felt her clamping around him like a hot, wet vice, and he was up like a shot. He shoved her back on the desk, took her thin wrists in his hands and pinned them there. He pounded into her relentlessly until he felt himself so near he roared and ended. He sank atop her, the ruined half of his face against her bare breasts, resting there and satiated.

"Our Holiday's home," he growled with spent pleasure, a grin just touching his lips and tipping them up on one side.

Yeah," Ivy responded dryly, "just don't go around thinking too much about getting hit again and again with a big hammer until sticky stuff shoots out of it." She chuckled darkly. "'Cause I'm afraid that's the one thing I can't do for you that Mr. J could. And, yeah, we'll show him, all right. Me and my Harley-rose. I have me some good ideas for jack-o'-lanterns, too. the face is most important. Mr. J taught you how to carve, didn't he?"

Panting, sweating, Gilda lay back against the hard surface of the desk, keeping herself curled around him, cradling his head between her modest breasts, running her fingers through his hair. "Holiday's happy to be home, babies." She lifted a leg, running it smoothly along him. "And she'll do anything for you."

***

The expert pressed his ear into the headphone once more and gave Jim a terse shake of his head. Nothing. Good God, Gordon though, he'd just sent an innocent woman off to her death.
