[It's a lazy afternoon in the Spirit Base. Ucchii has a special project in mind, and he is cheerfully arranging many colorful skeins of yarn on the table in the center of the common area, as well as some knitting needles in both adult and child sizes. He also has a big book called "Beginning Knitting", open to the first page. As soon as he's set everything up he takes a moment to survey the work space and then disappears into the kitchen to prepare some snacks.

Once he has the tea, fresh fruit, and cookies added, he pulls up one of the dinosaur-themed lawn chairs next to the table and goes to knock on Lilo's door to fetch her.]

Lilo-dono, I have prepared a surprise for you!

[He did promise they would learn together, after all.]

[He clears his throat.] I merely wish to be well-informed before... going another step further. [Hopefully Daigo's term for it is something familiar to Ian because Ucchii isn't sure he has the wherewithal to describe it in much more detail.]

Here I thought you guys would have done it all already. [Seriously.] Just what is a 'step further' for the two of you? Oral, toys, penetration...? You've already gone further than just kissing, right?

It's not Ucchii's fault that he doesn't know about modern developments, so Ian just sighs and puts his tea down to slide his wallet out of his pocket. From there, bam, have a condom thrown at you Ucchii. Seriously, King...]

They're tubes of latex that prevent your partner from coming in contact with your body fluids. They help lower the risk of infections and the potential transmission of any underlying diseases your partner might have. And... not that it matters any for either of you two, but they're also a useful method of birth control.

[Ucchii catches the condom and stares at it curiously. He doesn't know what latex is, but he is one hundred percent on board with Ian carrying a color-coordinated condom, and hopes that he'll be able to find gold ones.

Is it really so dangerous? Neither King-dono nor I have any illnesses. Could we be diseased without knowing it? Have I been risking his life unintentionally?!

	Calm down. If King had managed to contract anything, I'm sure he would've told you about it. [If he even knows what an STD test is.] Still, to be on the safe side you should get yourselves checked every so often. Modern medicine has found ways to detect and minimise a lot of illnesses, so it's worth going to a doctor for regular check-ups anyway. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Well, the first time I made it specially for him he was too tired from work for anything of a romantic nature to happen. [:c] But Doumeki-dono was quite insistent that it be inari-zushi.
