This is an open post for those looking to try out potential characters in the setting of the game. Curious about events? Interested to test the waters with a new character? Here is a sampling of situations your characters might find themselves in while in Kiseki. Choose from some previous world changes below or make up your own in the general setting. We have a variety of fun replayable events that are free to be used in any threads, both here and in-game. Please note we ask that everyone keep from replaying any events that affect character personality, history or actions drastically (such as the personality switch, seven sins/virtues, or the fairy tale au event, etc.,) especially if threads are to be used as application samples. ONE | LET IT SNOW? It starts out as a normal snowfall. The ice spreads, center and out to sea so even the waters freeze. The first day of it almost like a fun opportunity to play and enjoy a taste of winter. But progressively the snow gets heavier and the wind picks up. As for the hotels everyone is so familiar with? Gone and replaced by a worn down castle, lacking electrical heating and light, only walls of stone to stop the increasingly dire situation outside. Supplies and food rations are low, and hunting outside is a risk for more than one reason. Worse still is that magic will not work for those with such powers, not until several days have passed – just to make things that much harder. Survival in these conditions will be more than just a waiting game. TWO | WISH IN A BOTTLE You find a glass jar with a stopper beside your bed, with a note that says “do good deeds to fill me & make your wish come true.” With each act of kindness, a little konpeito will clink into the jar. The more the better. Bad deeds and cruel actions will make the konpeito likewise disappear piece by piece, and you’ll never make your wish come true that way! You will even find plenty of opportunities to do good deeds. Suddenly, the stray cats around Kiseki have a tendency to get stuck in trees. Perhaps you see a friend carrying more grocery bags than he can handle. There’s a kid struggling to get something down off a high shelf. Just taking a look around reveals plenty of opportunities and possibilities to be a good person. THREE | BEDSHARING Surprise! You’re not alone in the bed tonight, or you're not with the person you were sharing with if already accompanied. Beds all over the hotels will have changed, to fancier ones, or to smaller, more cramped ones, maybe even just sleeping bags. You could find yourselves in one of the many locations outside, on a hammock, or a more elaborated set-up. It'll be impossible to get out for at least some time after waking up. The switching around isn't limited to just once, and a general sleepy feeling will come back again to provoke random naps for another change. With one last touch of magic, appropriate (or inappropriate) pajamas are provided. You're welcome. 🌸
