is it even sin
“You know exactly what I want,” Sydney intoned, and shoved John’s soul aside.
Straining against the motion of his own hands, his own fingers, John undid his pants. He glared at Sydney the whole deft, backward moment—Sydney, who was Dark-eyed and glass-skinned and grey as John bent to his will. Not compulsion; vacancy. Sydney’s power (that which made him Sydney, John thought the more each passing night) was not with Sydney’s body, but with John’s hands. John’s hands, taking up his own prick (and is it—is it even sin, to touch himself, if his hands are not his own?); running basilisk-rough along the length; shivering with wonder and contention and—
“Abate,” John snarls. “I will not have you here,” so deep in my mind, he does not need to say.
The sensation of Sydney’s laughter, Sydney’s pattern on John’s lips is chilling. “Your mind is still your own,” he—in John’s voice, Hells, in John’s timbre—he sings, nearly, and run’s John’s palm hard and shivering on his length. “It is your body I bor—”
John bites his lip, hard enough to bruise. Borrow, he repeats, where Sydney can hear. Say I am not yours, he snarls inwardly, even as he grows hard under this alien touch.
“But you are,” he murmurs through the blood on his lip, in a voice not his own. “And how else am I to have you?”
