New skin, Final Fantasy VII (Cloud/Sephiroth) Title: New skin Author:shimyaku Rating: PG13 Warnings: not much. Overly watery dialogue perhaps? Prompt: Final Fantasy VII, post AC - CloudXSephiroth (Cloud on top) - feminization - Sephiroth's new body was as weak as his will had always been Word count: 622 Summary: Sephiroth has come back to Cloud, slightly different than before. A/N: Again, I apologise for lateness. And I wasn't sure how far it was intended that I take 'feminization', but in this case it's all over, so to speak. *wry smile*
Cloud had always thought that should ever Sephiroth reappear in his life he would have the strength to say no, to turn his back on the one that had caused him so much pain. After everything that had happened - Nibelheim, Meteor, Kadaj, and all things therein and thereafter - he'd considered himself completely mentally prepared to let the other man go and so drain away totally from his thoughts.
But then, he'd never expected the former General could ever return like this. Never could he have foreseen such a thing, and now... now he wouldn't dare walk away. The change was obvious and couldn't ignore th change it caused in himself and his feelings toward the other - feelings of possession and protectiveness. Not so long as his heart still mattered could he deny the (albeit unsound) connection they shared, and the threads of that connection had only pulled stronger upon setting his eyes on Sephiroth's unclothed and defenceless form.
"Cloud? Do you still... find me appealing?"
Long silver hair spilled over pale skin like a river of mercury, and the blonde nearly lost his voice for a brief moment.
"O-of course. You are still you, right? It's just a little bit... different."
Glancing down, he traced the shape of the other's body with his eyes - so slender limbs, shaped waist, and breasts that hadn't been there previously. Indeed he was still desirable to the blonde, exceedingly so, even in this foreign form.
"I am still me." Sephiroth spoke agreed, "Maybe even more so than before."
"How... how is that?" The younger couldn't help but ask, his voice tentative.
"The Planet," he began, "It had to send me back eventually. I was held in the lifestream just long enough to have my deepest secrets pried out from hiding beneath my skin, and I was then returned this way. When I asked it why, I was reminded that I had always been one of a kind, but I no longer had the will to be what I once was. And who knows - maybe I never did."
Sephiroth's head turned away, causing metallic strands to be cast over his eyes like a veil.
"What does that mean?" The blonde had sensed the other had more to say, and so offered him the opportunity should he want it. Cloud let a hand stroke gently along the now-softer line of his spine - it was an intimate gesture the former-General had enjoyed once, and he hoped he still did. It was the only subtle physical comfort he could think to give Sephiroth in this moment, for it was obvious he was still quite insecure. And Cloud couldn't blame him.
"From the beginning," Sephiroth began softly, "power has always been a burden to me, even if I didn't realise it at the time. So the Planet has done me a great favour - where once I was overflowing with that power, now I have none."
Was it a great favour? The blonde gazed ever deeper into the exotic green of Sephiroth's eyes as if he could see the complete absence of power in the other. And he wondered if it was his mind playing tricks, though he could have sworn there was a lesser lustre to his eyes - or perhaps it was something only someone like himself could see. Someone close. And yet, Cloud decided, it didn't detract from his beauty in the least. Cloud's beautifully fragile love.
The silver-haired female grasped onto Cloud's shoulder, tugging him close to whisper in his ear. "I know, and the Planet knows - I'm helpless now, Cloud." She sat back enough to meet him eye to eye. "And I think I like it this way."
