Sorry about my fail of late as far as activity as both a player and mod, guys. I had a really awful stomach flu for this entire week (I'm fairly sure it was Norwalk) and I'm only just getting better now.

brainstorming!
Ok! So, as it pertains to my new character Aelon Greyjoy, the Iron Islands are a pretty dismal and lonely place to raise a character, and I've been cooking up a few interesting ways to get him into the plot and interacting with other people! All of which probably need not only players' opinions and okays but likely mods' as well. What can you do, he's a Greyjoy, and they like to cause all sorts of trouble.
My first idea was that Aelon could make his way to Kings Landing by himself and/or with a crew, (maybe with one of his younger brothers along in case one of them happens to join the game?), masquerading as a sell sail. He would have been sent there to gather information/spy for his father, as not many must want to share the goings on of the mainland with the Sea folk. To get some drama with the Starks going he could meet one of them while pretending to be another, maybe little Genna Stark who is probably easily deceived? Aelon also has an affinity for children, so it would be interesting to see the cold, hard man fail because of his soft side for the young?
My other idea probably involves a lot more approvals being needed, but would involved the attack and possible over-taking of Winterfell by Aelon and his father's people, while the stronghold stands currently without a Lord. Of course very open to changing both of these ideas around, and just throwing things out there to be considered. The Iron Born have been getting very lonely and restless out there in the sea. :)
