Link had given Pruce a look of 'can you believe this?' as Zelda dragged him out the door, but she hadn't given him time to ask for Pruce to back him up on anything, so instead, he half-followed, half-got dragged out the store by her, then took the lead to a small path up between some very tiny model houses, just past them to an actually decently-sized house that was cut off from the rest of the village by the creek that ran through it, a bridge that could use some repairs the only thing connecting the house and the rest of the town.
When she pointed to the sign, he rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Bolson's idea," he said. "I think he had a bit too much admiration for how 'studly' it was to be buying a house and paying for furnishings at such a young age." He shrugged, grabbing the door handle. "It doesn't hurt anything, and it made him happy, and he threw it extra free furniture in exchange for paying him to do that."
He he paused before opening the door, then turned and took the basket from her. "There's a couple things hanging on the walls that I think may give you a moment of shock," he said. "And you're carrying eggs."
He was mostly thinking of Urbosa's sword and shield. He knew those two had been close, and while seeing the others' weapons might not rattle her too much, he knew she'd never had a chance to truly grieve their friends. Seeing Urbosa's things might make some of that grief hit her hard enough for her to drop that basket.
It was possible she wouldn't, but. Eggs. And glass bottles with milk. Milk that he needed to make soup that night.
He nodded at the door. "After you. There's no lock on it."
