Yammo smiled reassuringly. "I know," she said. "I'm not a tiny bit scared by it, I know it's just what you're used to, and it'll take a little time to get used to something else. That's normal for any person when it comes to that big of a change." She held out her hand for Zumi's. "I promise, that doesn't scare me, it doesn't upset me. And I'm not trying to hurt your feelings here."
After Zumi had reluctantly taken her hand, she gave said hand a squeeze. "But those habits upset you, and that's why you don't want to believe that Link could be lying about this." At Zumi's wary glare, she gave her hand another squeeze. "Love, how much more upset would those habits make you if you thought that Link's advice wasn't the right one to follow, if it's something he's not doing himself? How much would it make you afraid that leaving the stable with me was the wrong thing to do, that the Right Man was still out there and you were missing out on something better, and you wouldn't be if you hadn't followed the advice you were given?"
