Yammo knew what Zumi was doing, and since she wanted to be past the fort wall before she said what was on her mind, she let her fiance get away with it.
"I do," she said, then gave Zumi a smile. "Stay on the road that goes as straight east as possible. It looked like there's a branch that goes straight north and dead-ends into a gorge just past the wall, and then has a southwestern branch that loops a very long way around. I doubt Link cleared that area out, if he fit that into his afternoon yesterday. And even if he was doing that today, we shouldn't keep him from his duties as a royal guard longer than necessary to ask him to clear out every possible road between here and Hateno."
She took a few bites before continuing. "Then there was one more loop south just past that, and I have no idea what's going on with that, but we'll follow the path that goes more directly east. It does shift a little north at that fork, but only enough to get around what was either a very small lake, or a very large pond. Then we'll pass through the middle of a small woods, and on into Hateno."
